Hotel Belmar Galeria

I have been in this hotel several times, small budget,friendly staff,best location; 10 min walk to the beach, to Malecon, surrounded by local markets, parks,Cuale River, Banks, restaurants. This small gem hotel is very clean, staff is very helpfull and always ready to make your stay wonderful and safe.

This is my second visit to Belmar and I absolutely love it. Last year stayed 3 weeks this year 6 weeks. My room with a basic kitchenette is all I need. Microwave, fridge(rare in PV) coffee maker and dishes and a/c. Lovely balcony, flat screen tv with a couple of English stations. Scalding hot shower.
Some things to consider... no elevator and 5 stories so choose your floor carefully. Lots of dogs in neighbourhood so I put my ac fan on at night so I don't hear them.
Housekeepers do a great job, front desk staff are fantastic, caring and speak English.
There is no pool so fewer kids.
Neighbourhood is safe and improving every year.

As always, a delightful experience. Missing it already.

El hotel está bien situado, sin embargo hay mucho ruido, debido a que es una avenida principal y por las noches transitan camiones y motos ...ademas no hay muebles para poner las cosas y eso para mi resultó algo incómodo ....el personal es muy amable y atento, quienes en todo momento me auxiliaron en mis requerimientos..

The art in the hotel is very unique and you feel like you're exploring a little boutique art gallery. The room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated with a working fridge and TV. The location is perfect between the city center and gay area.

Good location in romantic zone.. hotel is older and needs some updates. No elevator so be prepared to climb 4 flights of stairs.

Hotel staff was awesome! Daily housekeeping available. Comfortable beds, hot water, fans and air conditioning.

Location is perfect. Short walk to beach and the park is right over the river. Great local food everywhere.

It was loud because of construction...but I'm from the city and loud noises don't bother me. They are building condos nextdoor....the loud noise she die off once the condos are complete.

Bien situé. Personnels attentifs.
Chambres très propres. Un peu bruyant de par sa situation sur la rue Insurgentes.

Amazing. I will never stay anywhere else when I travel to Vallarta. SUPER CLEAN, SUPER CLOSE to attractions , SUPER FRIENDLY. This place is my home away from home.

No elevator if you going to the 4th floor other wise nice location

Best Hotel stay in Vallarta, having been going to Vallarta almost 10 yrs now, very economical, super clean, friendly staff, great location and very secure! You will not find all of these qualities in any other hotel at this price point.

This hotel is a simple fairly quiet hotel in a good location. The front desk people were very helpful and kind. The room could have been cleaned a little better. The neighborhood is full of tasty little restaurants and stores so it’s easy to get what you need. A good inexpensive choice.

Hotel is very well located, you can walk to different places if not you can take Uber and it’s very affordable.
We stayed in room #22 (third floor) internet didn’t work at all, bathroom is very small and bed too.

Also there is no elevator.

LOVE the balcony and the view of course ! It’s an ok hotel for maybe one or two nights.

Small comfy room, good service and cleanliness

Room wasnt ready when we got there so went for a drink and when we came back nodbody there, had to wait another 15-20 minutes. Very small room but interesting art all thru hotel

room too noisy, continuous noise during mid-nigth and early in the morning a machine created anoying sound.

There is construction noise. But not on weekends. This hotel has beautiful art and is very conveniently located. I would come back. They offer an excellent value and great hospitality.
