Pros:

Breakfast cooked to order and lovely. Mark was the most helpful / friendly person I have ever met in a bar / hotel and restaurant. He could not do enough for me and went above and beyond in assisting me with my queries. All staff were good but Mark stood out. Will definitely be back in the future.

Quirky, retro vibe but great location.
Pros:

Very quirky hotel. Downstairs has an urban chic look with nicely curated reception area. Bar a little dated furniture wise, but well laid out. The bedroom (we had a suite) screamed 1980s. Retro in the extreme, complete with disco lights in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed, nice bath, strange bar area in the sitting room. Food at lunch and breakfast was excellent. Sadly the main (blackthorn) restaurant was shut.
Super location, walked to beach, nice little village.

Cons:

The service in the restaurant was slow, with staff appearing overwhelmed.
The corridors are very dark to navigate.

Lovely hotel, nice food, facilities were a bit hit and miss, room was cold despite us putting temp to 29 degrees at one

Cons:

Room was cold, no phone in room for reception and room service, no chrome cast to stream, no bathrobes. Fire alarm went on and off all evening on our final nights stay
