This hotel is situated a mere 5 minutes walk away from the main Sirmione centre, the Sirmione castle, and just up the road from the Terme di Sirmione. It is near the top of the Sirmione peninsula, and again within walking distance of the archeological site of a huge Roman villa, a 12th century church, and great circular walks. The hotel’s situation makes it a quiet and secluded spot great for relaxing. With magnificent views of Lake Garda. This is a spa and wellness hotel, of which there are several in the area of Sirmione due to its thermal springs. There are two outdoor pools in this hotel; one of which is thermally heated. There is also a sauna, steam, and salt relaxing room. There were a number of massage treatments which you could purchase and which were very good. The hotel is beautifully clean with modern, attractive decor. Clean dressing gowns and slippers are provided daily for the pool and spa rooms.
However what made the experience special was the great food; fish, meats, and a good vegetarian selection, excellents wines, and service was impeccable. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were very friendly and welcoming, which along with the managers also putting in an appearance at our table made our stay both special and us feel important. I would definitely recommend and cannot speak more highly of our experience. Thank you Hotel Continental!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They anticipated our needs and were always proactive. The location is perfect with excellent pools (one extra warm spa pool outside), view of the Garda lake and pier from which to easily go to swim in the wonderful lake. The hotel is within an easy and short 600m walk from Sirmione old town which has lots of restaurants and shops. The castello di Sirmione is also there and is very impressive. It’s easy to take the shuttle bus or boats to reach other places in the area. Verona was 1hr by airconditioned bus. The Verona airport was only 40min ride in the morning with taxi.
Location of hotel was good for the old town which had great selection of restaurants.
The superior room we had booked in our opinion was not superior-the bathroom was small and cramped with a shower in the bath which gave a small shower area.
