Great location and golf was good
Not enough staff on duty in cafe
Breakfast
The bar was never open. Rooms were dirty and dated. No where to get a drink not even a water
I love it here. Stayed 3 times in the last week!
The room we had didn’t have a fridge- luckily I didn’t have work the next day as my last stay I kept my lunch in the fridge. And then the light in the bathroom was flickering so much. And the flush on the toilet was I’m assuming slightly broken as it was very hard to push.
Countryside location
It generally looks tiered in many places and room was small with no wardrobe 2 old dans no air conditioning
Not much really
Pictures are not true to what the hotel is like, it’s very dirty and very run down, needs a lot of work done to it and a deep clean carried out.
Spa area is very dirty as well
Cooked breakfast was ok, had a nice selection and was hot. Little croissants were nice.
The room in general was fine, spacious and clean.
In the Room, the Tassimo water reservoir was dirty. The rooms could also benefit with air conditioning, although quite impressive fans were supplied, overnight it was very warm. Could have benefitted with a few more pillows, considering how big the beds are, the pillows, just 2 of them, were tiny.
Breakfast, coffee machine either did not work or was out of milk. Orange juice was watered down.
For medical issues we had to have breakfast as last a possible, this meant some of the items were a little dry.
Dinner was not so great. Very limited menu and also a very odd menu. Very weird ingredient parings and considering the price of the dishes, there was a lot of supplement charges for dinner inclusive guests.
Considering no smoking was allowed, the room opposite ours, the chap was smoking at the window and made our room smell, it could also be smelt in the corridors.
I felt the place was a little untidy as well, bit of litter in the restaurant garden. Despite us being conscientious dog owners, others were not and left dog mess in places.
Staff, for the most part the staff were pleasant and helpful, but there were a few that were less polite, we felt as though we were disturbing them when we asked a question or needed something.

Spa was closed for training so could not have any treatments
Could only use half of the swimming pool due to swim lessons taking place
Jacuzzi was not working either so could not use this
Location & Grounds
Room was extremely hot and not very clean.
I asked for a quiet accessible room. Initially I was told our room was up 8 stairs which I had to say was unacceptable for my disabled daughter before they begrudgingly allocated a different room.
There was a party at the hotel which went on until past 2am blaring music which made it impossible to sleep. When I complained to reception at 1am the staff member was rude and unhelpful.
Breakfast was poor.
Good location
Very hot and a bit tired
I love it here. It’s the 4th time this year! The staff are so friendly, helpful- not judgmental, kind, happy. I could go on!
That only 2 rooms have AC! The rest have portable fans that just blow the hot air around- but it was a heatwave weekend and I stayed twice!
Breakfast was good .
Need a better menu in the restaurant!
