The swimming pool for the children. Staff were friendly.
The changing rooms were very cold. The hairdryer was of poor quality.(dated). I did request a better hairdryer and extra blanket and didn’t receive it. the Jazuzzi was out of order.
Room 411 is right next to a massive outside air conditioning unit that made a racket all night.
The food in the restaurant was terrible and over-priced. What was served was not what I ordered and became a waste of money.
The pool & sauna steam room
Seemed under staffed and certain staff made you feel uncomfortable for questioning things ! Food was very poor quality not a good menu for food choices and when did get food was unedible although was compensated with a free dessert but obviously not filling when arrived our room was double booked and stood waiting for a resolution for at least 30 mins eventually was told we had a up graded room which I’m afraid if this was an upgrade I’d hate to think what the original room was like was very unclean stagnant water left in kettle and wasn’t till going to use coffee machine in morning realised there was water in there an also mold around edges of container everywhere felt dirty an not at all fresh things got worse after we realised the bed we slept in was the worst findings I really think if someone had paid the full price for this room they would have said a lot worse I would t have even paid the price I did for first room for this I’m so upset as this was supposed to be special for my daughters 30th birthday we tried to make a happy situation of a poor stay I’ve included photos of bed as this has got to be addressed some how !
Staff friendly.. food great..
Not all facilities working in pool... bit disappointing..
4 levels of stairs to room, room too hot
Clean
N/A
Swimming pool was good with area for children and Swimming lanes for adults
Room weren't the cleanest. Lots of dust
had a very nice room, spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff tried hard, were engaging and pleasant. Felt the bedroom accommodation was 4 star, the rest of the hotel could hardly be termed 3 star, see below
Room was extremely hot, no way to control the temp, but could open the windows a bit. Sauna not working for 1 of the days we were there, the Jacuzzi wasn't working. Restaurant menu options few, we stayed for 2 nights, so choice very limited. Staff tried hard but were clearly untrained. Never stayed in a 4 star hotel where the wine was given to me in an ice bucket and I was expected to open it and pour it, noticed this also happened to another guest when they ordered sparkling wine.. On Sat 21 arrived hoping for lunch, advised to go to Golf Club House, chef off sick, only crisps and sausage rolls available. Seemed to be a problem on Monday 23rd, no one to seat us at breakfast, told we were "not allowed" to sit in a particular section, waitress not in standard uniform and clearly unhappy about something (failure of colleague to turn up as she was alone?) she grumbled to a fellow staff member in the restaurant before he had his coat off, admittedly in whispered tones. Felt we paid a lot of money for a patchy experience.
Spa facilities, bedroom, location all good. Liked the hotel and would come again.

Good car parking. Comfortable and unpretentious room. Good lighting and sufficient power point. Bathroom spacious with good shower over bath. Towels good. Pleasant staff. Dinner - table service uncomplicated menu. Breakfast self service buffet fair range of options
The hotel was lovely staff friendly very comfortable.
The room wasn’t clean, it was very hot with a very noisy fan that didn’t work as an option, the outside fans kept me awake all night, disappointed!
Location, swimming pool,
The cobwebs and dust around the hotel, lamp shades, mirrors, windows need a deep clean.
And the other football guest group of 13 with kids starting a fight in the bar, with a man ending up unconscious on the floor! to which police was called which was very uneasy for our kids to see!!!
Children unsupervised in the pool as the dads was in the bar while the kids ran around the pool and got in the way of people just swimming
