Breakfast was ok. Pre cooked buffet can be a little dry.
If they had warned us they had a prom function that night we would never have booked. Supposed to be a quiet relaxing overnight stay not really loud base of music til 11pm
Breakfast was ok but not a good selection of fruit. The hotel run out of butter!
I booked online and stated my partner has a blue badge and needs oxygen so wanted a room with easy access.
The message either wasn’t read or ignored.
The room we were offered could not have been further away from reception and the bar/ restaurant area and was an attic room. (504). It was scorching hot and the room impossible to stay in.
We were transferred to a room on the floor below. Better but still difficult.
great building comfortable rom, the staff are very polite and accommodating. check in was straight forward. the food was lovely. plenty of parking.
waiting to be seated for table at dining was longer than i would have liked.
The breakfast was beyond awful.
The grounds are very nice ,the breakfast was very good
The room we had was near the function room extremely noisy, bed was the most uncomfortable I ever tried to sleep in
location, facilities (pool), the grounds.
The restaurant dinner menu was very basic for the 4 star hotel and did not change daily during our stay.
Leaving
Very dated and dirty to the point of worn out - toilet didn”t work on arrival - hotel man fixed this but said we couldn’t change rooms as fully booked - but that was a lie as 7 rooms available on booking.Com for the same night - and they were still showing two hours later.
Please do not add insult to injury by lying to me- I have done nothing to offend you except speak the truth.
There is no such thing as ‘clean dirt’ your hotel is filthy- you should have pay me to stay.
There is a lot wrong with this hotel - no attention to detail, but the biggest thing missing is Pride.
Bedroom Windows dirty and mouldy carpet very stained and for £145 a night - even this standard room was well ‘below par’
Oh - and the dried up toothpaste in the bathroom glass was not mine.
We arrived in good time but were given rubbish breakfast time options and then had to wait as tables dirty.
Get your act together sprowston - this is all very sub Standard-
You lied to us and put us (probably everyone) in a sub standard room- clean your hotel FGS
The dirty windows in bedroom only open at the top a fraction of (for security) but the window sills are above legal height) so at least you could allow full opening on top frames - this is not H&S gone mad - this is pure stupidity.
I can imagine why guest might want to jump though.
You had let this place go before and now you’ve dropped standards all together - call for polizzi! And get your act together.
Oh and don’t even think of going to the bar without your credit card - you can’t order a drink on your room number and they don’t accept cash ! Ridiculous.
I feel sorry for some of the staff but obv the majority and management don’t give a damn.
Going home
Food was poor. Decor was uninspiring. Dirty windowsills...stained bedding
Pleasant comfortable surroundings.staff very helpful
All good
The bedroom , the lobby , the restaurant , lounge , the grounds with children play grounds . Absolutely nothing to not like with the place .
Nothing
Evertything was lovely. Stayed a few times and it's a great hotel and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
No aircon in some of the rooms. A fan was provided but it hadn't been cleaned in a long time and blew dust all over the bed.
The room was a really good size and had all the amenities required, clean and modern. We loved the pool and how it opened at 7am so we could take our toddler early. The breakfast was also really good! We thought it was great value for money.
No plug sockets next to the bed to charge phones.
Spacious hotel although the single room was a little cramped. A warm weekend so resulted in a rather warm room.
Breakfast was good and ample. Very convenient for the Park & Ride into the city centre.
Nothing really
