Staff moved our room to accommodate that I am 9 months pregnant and couldn't cope with the stairs. Staff were very friendly and polite.
Lovely hotel, good facilities, pool and outside seating
The bar menu was very basic
We were not advised on booking that there were no lifts. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, the 2nd being very steep. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and struggle with stairs, but we were advised we had no choice at reception and that there were only a few steps. I was not able to use the spa as I couldn't face using the stairs again. There was also no room service. The room was described as 'cosy' but it seemed more like a motel than an upmarket hotel. We will not be staying again! Oh and in the restaurant and bar, you had to pay as you go - you could not charge anything to your room!
Fantastic pool and spa, friendly staff, 24 hour reception, room clean and bigger than expected, nice bar and restaurant food, good location in central Norfolk (as long as you have a car)
Room was quiet most of the time, but if there’s a wedding or event in the function room, the music can be very loud until midnight. I’d go back, but would ask for a room away from the function room.
Its a lovely setting and the hotel is very well kept.
It was summer when we stayed and the lack of air conditioning was very difficult. I couldn't sleep due to how hot it was.
Location near to Wroxham
My room 510 had some sort of noise outside generating eg air conditioner or such like making sleep impossible.
Had to ask reception staff several times to get shower gel replacement as it was missing from room. Premier Inn much better.
Dinner was spoilt by very rowdy and hugely noisy large group of men. Place felt very downmarket.

Room very hot, even though a fan was provided. Buffet breakfast poor...very dry, even the fried eggs when they came direct from the kitchen were cold and hard.

Bedroom very small and bed ( small double) uncomfortable. Particularly disliked the window being covered in opaque stick on plastic as if it was a bathroom.

Worst experience in all of the 20+years I have stayed there
Sadly, very short of staff on that occasion so unable to give the usual standard of help and support we're used to receiving from Sprowston Manor. The promise of a refund for that awful experience has still not been forthcoming and now all staff seem to be denying everything that happened on that day, including the horrendous noise from the bathroom taps, the great inconvenience of trying to get changed to a different room and the difficulties involved in moving my 95 year old mum from the 3rd to 1st floor along with all our luggage and no staff to help. Hugely disappointing after so many years of very happily staying at this hotel.
