Lovely clean , welcoming and historic
Next to a lovely farm
nichts!
Kate and her husband are the innkeepers they are delightful, helpful in recommendations and wonderful breakfast hosts. The breakfast choices are outstanding.
Nothing
Made to order breakfast was phenomenal!
Loved the patio, big swing in the far back corner of the property and chairs to watch the sunset! Also Kate & Vadim were friendly and fun!
TV hard to understand for these old folks!
Beautiful historic property.
Breakfast was incredible. Choice was vast and the food delicious
Nothing I could point to
Everything : the host was super nice and friendly , the inn is located in an absolutely gorgeous place
This place was about the best we have ever stayed at. This house has been renovated magnificiently - having modern comfort AND the charm of yesterday. It not only features many nice little things all around the place but has also a great garden area which can be used.
You cannot have a better host than Kate! She does her job with every cell of her heart, is more than eager to help with any wish and takes every measure to give guests any possible comfort during the stay.
Not forgetting her cute dog "Roy" who is also taking a great care of guests. ;-)
In addition, the breakfast choice is incredible and soooo delicious!
Parking is available directly at the house.
Unfortunately, we were only staying for a night. But we will certainly be back again!

Localização fantástica. A mansão é excelente e mantida soberbamente. O pessoal é super atento. A qualidade de café-da-manhã é fora de série.
Nada a comentar.
My review is an average of my stay.
The breakfast experience somewhat redeemed my overall stay. I was just going to leave until I met Roy!
Breakfast was very delicious and the server was extremely friendly and kind. I wish I would have been greeted by the her instead of the man who greeted me. (See below.) I loved meeting Roy. It was so nice to have a lovely dog to share my bacon with! The property is well-located.
The guy who showed me in gave me the creeps. I thought he was someone wandering around the property and was hesitant to get out of my car. He reeked of cigarettes and lacked communication skills needed for an inn of this purported stature. I told him I was tired and needed to use the restroom. Instead, he showed me around, including the significance of a rock outside the entry and pointing out how narrow the road was because horse drawn carriages were there. Read the room! He finally took me to my room, didn't ask if he could come in, like at every other hotel, while mentioning I had the entire inn to myself. Showed me the shower, which I could have figured out. Again, creepy.
Once I settled in, the room wasn't as clean as I'd hoped -- see stain on pillowcase and dust on lamp, for example. I tried to find him but he was no where to be found. The next morning, I opened all the shades. When I came out of the shower, I saw him sitting across from my bathroom window looking up (photo shows him on his phone, didn't have my camera handy). There are dozens of other places to sit. It's also important to mention that I was the only one there. It wasn't until breakfast that I found out there was another party at the inn. Like I said, gave me the creeps.
I am an experienced traveller and have never, ever felt like this.
This is an historic property. To me, historic is not the same as run down. The shade in the windows didn't open and close properly. The carpeting in the room is warn and needs replacing -- who had wall to wall carpet when the inn was built anyway?
The made to order breakfast and the how the inn keepers made you feel like you were home.
Nothing
It was so homey. The innkeepers were so nice and accommodating. We also loved seeing Roy! Also the scenery I gorgeous.
Nothing. We loved it.
