Zum nur übernachten war es ok, mehr aber nicht.
Pros:

Die Umgebung war schön.

Cons:

das Hotel war einfach, die Zimmer sehr hörig (man hat alles von den Nachbarzimmern gehört). Leider musste man oft erst bitten, wie um Toilettenpapier, um etwas aufgefüllt zu bekommen.

Pros:

I enjoyed the size of the room.The comfort of the bed , the convenience of the location and the friendliness of the staff

Cons:

I did not enjoy the fact that I could not get the room. I requested on the 1st floor.\n That the elevator had difficulty in running. Someone had to run up-and-down to make sure that it,was working so I was able to get on it. I had a mobility issue which is why I wanted the 1st floor room. The fact that the hot water was not in service on the 1st day that of my stay.

here a few days while visiting Hyde Park area, but enjoyed just hanging around the hotel too, lovely
Pros:

had amazing view of the river/creek in our room, and at breakfast. breakfast was good, rooms comfortable. Like the sink separate from shower and toilet. room and location were very nice.

Old vintage hotel right by the Wappinger River in a peaceful, quiet setting.

Delightful and we'll return
Pros:

This is the second time we've stayed there and both times it's been a delight. We stayed 6 days in a suite overlooking the falls. While admittedly, it's a little dated, it's clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. There's coffee 24/7 and breakfast for several hours in morning. This included a nice selection of fresh fruit of apples, bananas and oranges. There was also hot and cold cereals, a variety of pastries, toast, bagels, butter, jam, cream cheese, eggs, bacon, sausage, juice, milk tea, coffee and waffles!! I think I've left a few things out, but that's ok. There are a variety of restaurants nearby, but we spent most of our time visiting family and eating with them.
In any event, it's budge friendly, has a great atmosphere and we had a great time there.

We were thoroughly pleased to meet good friends and hang out on the patio. Perfect!
Pros:

Very peaceful. Besides the Wappinger River. A great place to sit, drink and watch the birds fly by.

Cons:

A bit old but comfortable and quiet.
