Best Western Plus The Inn & Suites At The Falls

The hotel is dated and in need of a significant refurbishment. When you enter the lobby, the hotel smells a bit damp. The sheets on my bed were heavily stained. The sheets in my friend’s room were dirty and they had not changed them from the previous occupant. There was something in the hotel that I was allergic too and made me sneeze. The breakfast is very basic (toast, bagels, Kellogg cereals, etc). I expected a lot more for $1,000 per room for 2 nights. I don’t mind paying that for a nice hotel but this was a complete rip off

Room note ready for check-in due to a night before bridal party per front desk, was told that the room would be ready at 4pm not able to get in until about 5; hotel front desk told Hotel.com rep Jospeh, room was ready at 4, checked in at 5pm, Had an event at 5, didn't make it to my event until 7pm, mind you it was suppose to be ready at 3pm mins away and we were late. Room not cleaned had to go get towels from the front desk, before getting dressed. Room smelled like pee upon entering. It's sad that you stay with a hotel that is able to disrupt your plans due to their lack of planning and staffing and hotel.com doesn't even make an effort to ask the hotel for a discounted rate to compensate.The cellular reception is not good in this area, if you need directions, you need to have a pre- prepare your route and no calls coming in or going out.

Everything was overall very average or below. The room + property itself was dated, not maintained and the one girl I saw on staff was definitely over her job but as pleasant as could be. When you first walk in our room, you were hit with a pungent smell of cologne that soon disappeared and then all you smelled was dampness with a hint of mold. For the cost, it wasn’t the worst, but I definitely wouldn’t choose it again.

Smooth check in friendly stage only thing was the coffee machine in the room didn’t brew correctly which was unfortunate. Other than that, great stay.

The room fridge smells rotten and there was dog hair on the desk chair, which makes me think the room is not clean!

Beautiful location and yummy breakfast

Breakfast was horrible waffle maker empty nothing ready staff uncooperative when asked with what was going on with lack of service just fine. The breakfast experience to be nonexistent and completely ruined. My stay will not go back to best Western.

I like that it was next to the river which makes the view wonderful.
Otherwise, the first we entered the room, we did not like the smell!! There was a bad smell inside the room.

Was in town to visit family. The room was not in great condition. The toilet seat was too small so when you sat on the toilet, you’re sitting on the bottom part as well. I had put down a $50 deposit. My husband bought two sodas and two waters and they only gave me $10 on my deposit back. I need my money back so I will be contacting somebody for that.

Toilet was clogged upon arrival, room stunk like bleach, and towel racks, toilet paper holder and shelves in bathroom were falling off of wall.

The staff was very kind after we complained there was a barking dog in the room next door, and we were relocated to the only available option across the hall since the hotel was sold out due to a wedding. I did not like the quality of the sheets and bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked, but my husband was able to sleep without any trouble. While the room looked basically clean, it as evident it had not been dusted (bathroom sink shelf was very dusty) or properly vacuumed (flower petal was on the floor partially under one bed in the new room and several hairs were on the floor in the first room's bathroom). The bathroom sink in the 2nd room took awhile to drain properly and there was no way to pull up the stopper to help it drain faster. The TV was large and brand new (we literally had to take the plastic off the screen) but it was on a very sad looking, warped TV stand. Also the bathtub was extremely slippery, so they need to add those adhesive strips on the tub floor to insure no one slips getting in, out or during their shower. On the plus side, there was no traffic noise even though some rooms face the road, The breakfast room and food options were wonderful - it very lovely to sit in the glassed room overlooking the little falls and stand out on the deck. Would appreciate a few bedding, furniture and cleaning updates.
