Loved the area, overall terrible amenities for a hotel. Will not use comfort inn again.

I love the location of the hotel, it was near where I was going for the weekend and very easy to get in and out of.

Cons:

The staff were friendly but very slow at any request whether it be towels for the room that were not provided or pillows. No cups in the breakfast area. No TV remote, no channels on the TV, broken sink counter, light bulbs missing and burnt out in lamps, etc. Clean bed to sleep in, that is it.

Not clean.. trash cans dirty...had not been dusted at all. tub needs replacing (bad) ..#408 i have to eat something for breakfast and before I stay I make sure they have waffle machine well there was machine no mix or I can eat white bread with jelly no white bread so next day brought my own bread 4 nights last day which was today they had a good suppy food and my waffle BUT no forks wow another let down ...also couple with 3 kids was there and they couldn't believe no forks with kids ...

Won’t go back.
Pros:

The people working were very nice.

Cons:

Filthy couch, filthy rug, hole in the floor, rust in bathtub with leaky faucet, towel rack fell off when removing towel, shade in room wouldn’t go up
We had someone near us smoking marijuana and using foul language in elevator as they screamed at each other .

Location and the check in was easy

Cons:

The room was not as clean and ready for guest. The tv didn’t work. The carpet needs cleaning or replacing.Smoke detector hanging from wall not sure if it worked or not. No towels were in the room. Breakfast was not appealing at all.

AVOID THIS HOTEL

It is difficult to find something that we liked.

Cons:

We can start with horrible check in! Check in was stressful because the person was not overly friendly or helpful. Any questions we asked, he didn't seem to know the answer to. For example, which side is our room on so that we can park outside of it. --he told us the wrong side. Does this hotel have a shuttle --he didn't know.

THEN, we got to our room and the door was WIDE OPEN. I thought that was weird and went inside to move my stuff in and started washing up. The hotel staff then walked in to clean it! They said that it wasn't cleaned yet, they didn't mark it as clean, and what was I doing in this room? So naturally I was a bit flustered! So we left for 10 minutescame, back and they were gone.

This is a very subpar hotel with stained furniture, fixtures falling off the wall, automatic curtains that didn't work so we couldn't raise them, AC did not work, shower drain was slow so there was always a large pool of water filling up at the bottom of the tub, no working ice machines, we were told the laundry machines were broken, breakfast foods that were not replenished so those that came down at 8am got nothing. and then the last day the ELEVATORS broke down. I am not sure ANYTHING worked in this hotel. We gave the property a chance to make amends, but when we complained, we were only given another subpar room with more stained furniture and a broken AC on a hot Alabama day.

Choose somewhere else!
