Lovely stay- beautiful, delicious food, kind staff

Wunderschönes Weingut mit toller Lage und tollem blick. Das Personal war freundlich. Auf den Zimmer fehlt ein wenig Liebe zum Detail und es war nicht das sauberste. Die Bettwäsche hatte Flecken (gingen beim Waschen vermutlich nicht mehr raus), der Wasserbehälter der Kaffeemaschine hatte Algen gebildet und unterm Bett haben wir Pantoffeln gefunden.
Trotz allem in Ordnung und gute Preis-Leistung.

Wunderschöne Anlage zwischen den Bergen bei Stellenbosch. Sehr gemütlich, tolles Panorama, leckeres Essen und leckerer Wein. Nettes Personal. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und sogar begeistert. Perfekter letzter Stopp unserer Rundreise.

Very welcoming staff, superb service and the guest eating option was based around a selection of small plates which were delicious. The wines were good too and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend

I had a fantastic stay at Zorgvliet. The service was outstanding, all staff was incredibly friendly and service minded. The complimentary wine tasting was a very nice surprise! However, keep in mind that this is a family friendly hotel and the kids were rowdy at the pool which bothered the guests a bit. I wish this would be clearly stated in the info, as the pool area is small and there is no other area to enjoy the sun and relax. But except for that it was overall a great stay!

We were quite excited to stay in Stellenbosch in this hotel, but upon arrival the staff seem to be very disengaged. Nobody helped us with our luggage despite a lot of staff walking past us and the reception lady seeing us caring the luggage knowing we had some more luggage in our car. After a long day exploring the region, we came back to our room and had to find a lot of silverfish in the bathroom and blood on our pillow and sheets on both sides. We couldn't reach reception, as they don't work 24h, after wondering around the grounds, we found someone who was able to contact someone to give us a new room. He quickly showed one of us the room and left us in the pitch black without helping us to move the luggage in the middle of the power outage, which happens every day for a few hours.

Overall this hotel lacks of good service and cleanness. You get shared for everything, even regular water, which seems to be free at every other accommodation. Dinner and breakfast are below average and the whole experience felt more like a motel than a hotel. There are plenty of better options around with good service and food that make you feel like a valued guest rather than being only interested in your money. We tried to talk to the receptionist about our encountered issues and she apologized and talked to the manager but the manager had no intention to talk to us. Terrible experiences.

Lovely setting. The staff were fantastic. We had a late flight to catch and they were able to allow us to check out much later. The restaurant was lovely and the staff second to none. Will stay again.
