Beach Colony Resort

We stayed at Beach Colony Resort “Salt & Sea” on the 10th floor and it was incredible! If you can stay in the oceanfront units it is worth every penny! We woke up to gorgeous sunrises and dolphins swimming. Even though it was December we were still able to swim in the heated pool and hot tub outside. We can’t wait to go back!

This was my second experience with the beach colony resort due to attending an annual church empowerment conference. I have always found the staff to be quite pleasant and helpful.

The people were friendly and there are plenty of things to do. The only downfall on this trip was that the indoor pool and spa was closed for renovation.

Love this place. It feels like a home away from home. Loved the room and staff were very friendly and kind. Beach view was amazing.

The executive suite was very spacious. The view from the 9th floor was wonderful. Loved how it had a game room and a bar at the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again!!

Booked an accessible ocean front. This is NOT an accessible resort, but very accommodating and planned with my own shower chair. Fortunately I have some use of my legs, as there were 2 major steps down to the living area and the wonderful ocean view on the balcony of our 12th floor condo.
We had originally booked a Thursday-Monday stay, but were enjoying ourselves so much--decided on 1 more night 🌙 if the room was available.
The kitchen in this unit was well equipped, although the microwave was not particularly good at heating up much of anything. The refrigerator saved us from eating out except for a breakfast splurge.
Loved both the pools that I had the opportunity to use. Had been told there was a handicapped ♿ lift for those of us that may have the need, but that was not the case. One of the pools did have 2 railings and extra wide entry steps. Again I am very fortunate that I did not have difficulty, and even other guests were offering help to get me back to my wheelchair. I also managed to use one of the hammocks on the grounds.
We had the most amazing weather for this getaway, and hope to see y'all again soon. Hopefully by then, the parts on order to repair that handicapped ♿ entry door to the pool courtyard area will be taken care of! 🙋‍♀️🌊✌🏽 I would recommend this resort, but not necessarily to those needing true wheelchair accommodations.

It was amazing we have been married 25 years and this is the 1st time ever seeing the beach we had a blast love everything about our vacation

We had a great time staying at Beach Colony. This was my first time visiting this resort and I was not disappointed. We booked a two bedroom condo with an ocean view. It met all of our expectations. Will definitely book here again!

Family Friendly, Very Clean, Beach Walkable

I did not find it to be a “resort”. Hallway rugs are dirty. The bedrooms were dirty. No water pressure in the main bathroom. The curtain rod sticking out and water flood the floor. I will only stay in emergency. Good part it sleeps 6-8 ppl, a found it spacious. Indoor pool under renovation. Outside pool and access to beach was great.

My stay at the Colony Resort was ok. I booked a 2 bedroom suite, and EVERYTHING was outdated. I was a little disappointed at how old and dirty things were. All of the appliances, the cooking utensils, the furniture, etc were old, worn and outdated. Also, the room wasn't clean well. But I did enjoy the view. Hopefully this room or all rooms go through a renovation or some type of update in the near future.

Very quiet atmosphere. Didn't like parking for my pickup truck .

Front desk staff were accommodating and nice maybe just add room service and clean behind the beds and behind dressers but still good.would come again

Reasonable place to stay - but leaves room for improved cleanliness. Front desk staff unfortunately are not friendly and all about grabbing more money. I was charged several charges with no biases. When questioned- I was told “well they’re only pending charges”!!

We had stayed at BC previously, so were familiar with the parking garage and elevator issues. Luckily, we never used the elevators. Our room was very dated and definitely not cleaned. We found old food on the couch, toothpaste splatters all over the mirror, and dust bunnies throughout the rooms. The door to the porch was broken and wouldn’t lock. The stove had one working burner, which is actually surprising since it looked to be 30 years old. Dishes in the cabinet were dirty. There was trash in the lazy river, along with several pizza crusts. We really didn’t get in either of the main pools much because it was so overly crowded. The only thing that was good about this place was that it is convenient to get to the beach.
