This was a great find, would recommend.
Pros:

The proximity to town and the beach. The harbour was also only a 10-minute walk. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and crockery.

Cons:

There was really nothing that I didn't like about the property.
The only suggestion I would make is better signage to the rooms on arrival.

Tolle Unterkunft mit weiteren Wegen
Pros:

Wir waren Selbstversorger. Es war auch in der Küche alles vorhanden, was benötigt wurde. Kleiner Pool direckt vor der Terrasse. Barbecue war ebenfalls möglich.
Port Douglas selbst ein wunderschöner Ort.
Von Seiten des Vermittlers haben wir jederzeit Unterstützung erhalten

Cons:

Die Lage war nicht sehr zentral und man musste Einkäufe recht weit tragen - oder Taxi fahren.
Sehr wenig persönlichen Kontakt.
Wegen Quallen und anderen Meeresbewohner war Baden im Meer nur in abgesperten Bereichen möglich.

Pros:

Die Lage ist super, fußläufig zum Badebereich am Four Mile Beach. Der Pool ist niedlich und wir haben ihn ab und zu nachmittags genutzt. Das Appartement im Erdgeschoss hat eine kleine Terrasse mit Gitterstäben. Es ist alles da, was man so braucht, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Wir fanden das eher harte Bett sehr angenehm.

Cons:

Es ist etwas dunkel, man braucht immer Licht, aber man ist ja sowieso meist draußen.. Die Reinigung könnte besser sein, vor allem der Fußboden. Viel3 Flusen in den Ecken. Die kleinen Ameisen, naja, kein Problemy kaum zu sehen.

Booking should redo the photos to truly reflect the current state of the apartment.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Walking distance to everything. It was relatively well equipped for a couple preparing their own meals.

Cons:

The apartment was run down and in desperate need of a facelift. The room was a bit noisy as it was over the main road. The shower was cramped. The bed was too soft. The keys didn't work for the screen door, meaning we could only lock that when we were in the apartment. We had to rely only on the main access door for security when we were out.
