fantastic room and hotel with great views. Staff are excellent and helpful
I can only speak about the room I was given but it was run down. No hot water at kitchen sink had to boil kettle to be able to clean dishes. Bedroom doors dont fully close as they have moved and hit door jam (you can see the rub marks) but worst of all the bathroom was full of black mould (as no real ventilation) it was growing around the back of the sink and behind the sliding door wall when the door is closed you could write your name in it with your finger. Otherwise the area is good the pool and restaurant were great close to the beach
Staff were fabulous. Room was disgusting.
Great place to stay
Location is excellent and pool is good. But accommodation poor and disappointing. Expedia photos for this property show a pleasant hotel room. This is not a hotel. Rooms are individually owned and are differently furnished and maintained by Ramada. Wall had peeling and scuffed paint, extractor fans for air-conditioning and shower were full of dust. Mould around shower, sink tap broken, light switches worn and dirty, floor tiles cracked, furniture damaged, aircon noisy. No safe. Shown a second room equally bad with ripped fabric on bedside table lamps. Restaurant is 3rd party so can't charge food to the room. This is not a hotel. Staff were as helpful as they could be. Offered a different room which was equally poor. Gave us vouchers for the restaurant. We took this package (flight, car, hotel) through Expedia and it was not as advertised. The price does not reflect the quality of the accommodation. The rental car too was knackered. Expedia's info says to take complaints up with the hotel. But Expedia should take responsibility for the package that they sold. We're over from the UK staying in Melbourne. So this put a dampener on our 2 night break to the Sunshine Coast.
I love how close the beach is and the pool is to die for. The room was a bit small and dated and could've done with a plate, knife, fork and iron in the room.
Laundry facilities in the room hallway
Beach excellent
Rooms need upgrading
Nice place
Nice location
Good size room with comfortable king bed but no kitchen pantry. Shower screen dated. No ocean view (despite booking saying otherwise). One bar phone cover. No supermarket nearby. But good beach access and quiet. Nice pool and reasonable gym.
Location to beach
Appreciated the prompt serivice
The view was fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful.
Premises had a pool but was also a quick walk to a beautiful beach
Our room was tiny with all items we expected but the hand basin drain was restricted with prior guests food stuff as this is the only place to wash dishes. The floors looked clean but felt tacky. Lots of visible rust on metal parts.
Phone didn’t work, patio door latch didn’t work, decor and furniture just a bit tired but ok. Must have been some construction work going on above us so was noisy till about 5pm.
Nothing amazing and probably overpriced (coincidentally there was an Ironman event on we didn’t know about and weren’t attending) but given other places were more expensive it was tolerable for a one night stay. More or less shows its age and could do with a little extra cleaning/refreshing/renovations. The staff I interacted with were friendly, no complaints there.
Great accomodation close to ammenities
A lovely resort although the one bed unit was out of date and in need of a reno. Cupboard does broken, shower tiles cracked and dated.
Not much to write home about. Room was tight, staff a bit bored and underwhelming.
