Dirty floors , room had a stink smell

The location is convenient.
The room was dirty, the shower didn't work, the lights kept shorting out, the towels were stained, the door didn't seal, there were strange stains on the bed and ceiling, the tub was dirty, and the staff acts suspicious of certain guests. Also, the booking said pet friendly, the additional $25 charge was a surprise. Misleading to say the least, predatory to say the most. Its a family owned establishment next to a 7/11... Its convenient, but uncomfortable.
The room as well as the facility was very clean and comfortable. The youg Indian lady sorry I don't remember her name she was amazing and very kind. This to me is the best motel in hayward. The only little issue I had was when they rolled the cleaning carts in the morning that made a lot of noise. Overall very happy.

The heater ventilation fridge & microwave tv
The door to the room was a bit loose after closing & locking it top lock is almost broken not enough towels provided & tp.
The motel was very run down and in dire need of updating. We had a coffeemaker in the room but there was no coffee pot.
The wonderful lady at the front desk made these inconveniences tolerable as she was very nice.

Easy to find
The fact the the employee literally harassed my friend and came out with a hammer looking thing. Not sure what she planned on doing with it but we were tired and I don’t appreciate my friend getting harassed
I requested 1st floor, but they didn’t have any.
My husband had a bad experience when he went to get breakfast.
