Pros:

First stay in Madrid on way to Camino.

Staff - friendly, informed, numerous and deeply helpful

Room - light, air conditioned and very comfortable. Bed super comfy.

Food - great food, well prepared and delicious. Very good value for money. Great local beer too.

Ideally placed for centre and all stations including airport. I’d stay again.

Only gripe is the aircon was inadequate in the heat

An excellent compromise between, peaceful and walkable!
Pros:

The hotel is an excellent compromise if you are looking for a rather peaceful neighbourhood, within walking distance of the Metro and Retiro Park. As a bonus, they have private underground parking, and the location is easily accessible from the highway.
