It was comfortable and clean. Grounds were good for walking dogs.
I would have appreciated a healthier breakfast. Fresh fruit and yogurt would have been nice but I didn't see any. I am gluten free so I was only able to eat eggs.I also didn't see a shower cap which would have been nice. Also I was charged an incidental fee which was not disclosed ahead of my arrival.
Great experience! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The service was excellent, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.
Everything was great and we had no issues during our stay.
This used to be a great hotel! New owners have let it go down hill! It's dirty. Elevators dirty stairs dirty floors dirty! The pool area floors and drains are filthy. The hot tub works part time and I wanted a hot tub in the morning before check out nope not working. Staff didn't try to fix it. Was told by other guests that were there for 3 days hadn't been working at all. The air filtering system isn't working the chlorine was so strong we had to leave the pool area. I know it's tourist season BUT there were coffee cups soda cans etc in main lobby overnight I guess the front desk employee doesn't pick up the dirty main lobby. Just disappointed it's gone so far down hill.
My sister in law and I enjoyed every bit of our stay. From the indoor pool and spa time the breakfast in the morning ( got to add bacon to the menu).

Aureichendes Frrühstück.
It offered free breakfast. They are out of the village , but just a short drive to all the fun. There is a pool and hot tub. There is daily housekeeping. It was quiet.
When we got to our room the first day, they obviously did not vacuum. There were fake black flower pedals all over the floor and black popped balloons. We had bottles and cans placed on the table that never got picked up. One day they came to clean the room, but didn't make the bed, like all the days before. We book our hotels that have a hot tub, but this hot tub was not even warm. We spent all our days hiking and wanted to relax in the hot tub when we got back. I should not have the goose bumps in a hot tub! And the kiddie pool was closed. The free breakfast was the same for all 4 days we were there.
The hotel is very well located, close to two major highways, I-87 and Route 9. For those traveling to Canada, this hotel can be a great option and a convenient stop along the way. The room was clean and well maintained.
The breakfast was a continental breakfast, but we felt that the selection was quite limited, with not many options available. Also, there were not enough luggage carts available to take our bags up to the room.
The room was great, beds were comfortable. Big room also! Definitely a solid value. The pool was fun also, my daughter's loved the water slide!
My only complaints would be the lights in the bathroom, they have them set on motion sensors. So if you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, all of the lights blast on like looking into the sun. Way too bright for the middle of the night! And the other thing would be the hot tub. We were very excited to get a hotel with a nice hot tub, but when we went to sit in it, it was barely luke warm, maybe 5-10 degrees warmer than the pool water. The hot tub water would have been a perfect temp for an indoor pool, but about 20 degrees too cold to be called a hot tub. That was very very disappointing. Not sure if it wasn't running right when we were there, or if it was broken, but something was definitely wrong
Location
Wasn’t as neat and tidy as usually
Breakfast was good . A variety of eggs and meat would have been nice, staying for multiple days.
Coffee! Very weak! Cant eat sausage, so no meat for me. Same wet steamed eggs everyday
The hotel was very clean! The Playscape was perfect! The pool was amazing! My grandaughter never wanted to leave! I was very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the entire hotel! Staff were pleasant and kind! We cant wait to visit again and we will definitely be staying here!
I really have no negatives at all.
Pool area...We learned the day when we were leaving that the children's pool was not supposed to be used as the NYS Health Department closed it. This was not marked off well. My grandchild swam in it the whole previous day! ...not happy about that! The evening of our stay, two young teenage boys came in back door and were very rude to the kids in the pool. They were jumping off the indoor slide, running about and mouthy! I spoke to them to stop their behavior but they continued on. Meanwhile, I observed alot of kids in the pool and these boys were a nusiance later leaving on bikes from the back door.
Roping off the children's pool! Better monitoring of the usage of who is in the swimming pool.
