The Marriott Courtyard Downtown St Pete is one of the best hotels in the world because of the hospitality of the staff. At check in you are offered champagne, coffee, cookies. The staff goes above and beyond in everything! Thank you to Meeka in the restaurant and Heneya and Kemela at check in. The hotel is very clean and location is walking distance to the pier!!
Public parking is across the street for $1/hour - u get a parking ticket upon entering and pay by credit card upon exiting! There s also lots of free parking 6pm til 8am!!!

My daughters had a dance competition in St Pete and I chose this property over the “preferred hotel” advertised by the dance organizers because I had heard several negative reviews of it. I am SO glad I chose the Courtyard!!! We we there for the week. The staff is phenomenal here. I was literally sad when we left. Huge shout out to Max and Kemelia at the front desk for always being so happy and helpful. They brought a smile to my face each time I walked in. They give you a glass of champagne when you check in; they have cold infused water; cookies; fresh coffee!! I felt like royalty. This is not your regular courtyard as it is a100 year old hotel but the rooms have been upgraded and they are very nice and clean. There is plenty of free parking or pay by plate around. Valet is pricey but so is at every other hotel in the area. Even though we didn’t valet our car April and Avery were always incrediblY polite and helpful. Oh and I have to mention Andy from maintenance because he remembered us from the moment we checked in and kept asking how my girls did each day on their competition. What a genuinely nice man. I hope we get to come back because this hotel felt like home.

Adrian was in a rush very slow,He was not professional at all, The last time I came the 2 that normally work in morning were great,Hotel was ok but we wont be returning our liens were nasty,Hotel prices not great ,Front desk is ok except blonde lady is rude at the front desk,

The valet team was amazing. April was very respectful and polite. April thank you for always being kind every time we stay here you are so special to us. You are one of the best ballets here and thank you for sending us to the wine place down the street. We got 25% off. We appreciate you so much thank you for all that you do.

Customer service was outstanding from everyone with exception of April, one of the valet staff. We were asked several times if we wanted help with our many items of luggage to which the response was always “no thank you, we can manage”. I’m not 100% sure if it was April ( older blond haired lady) who then asked us the same and offered us a luggage trolley but I said “no thanks, we are ok”. She seemed to take umbrage at this……..no idea why as we don’t ’have to’ use the luggage trollies and we never do wherever we go so this was not a ‘one-off’. She got quite nasty to the point my husband overheard her telling Brian to “close the door (which he was holding open for us as we carried our cases in) as I’d said we don’t need any help”. Brian apparently stood his ground and challenged her order and said he could not just shut the door on us, which was very kind of him (at this stage I had no idea of the ‘drama’ that seemed to be unfolding outside). This encounter spoiled our stay for my husband as she was subsequently quite off with him. However it did not spoil my stay, I generally find the young gentlemen are a lot better with dealing with situations and, at the end of the day, I am the customer and if we don’t need help it should not be taken personally or used as a ‘weapon’ to treat guests poorly. Thank goodness the rest of the team, reception and valet, were fabulous. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment upon food but lovely personal touches…..welcome Prosecco and lollipops upon departure. Used the gym which was good, room was clean and good housekeeping.

The valet team was great, especially Aiden. As soon as we arrived, he promptly helped us unload luggage and was patient as we got organized. He was helpful, responsive, and provided great customer service!

Great location! Valet crew was exceptional - Brian, April, Adrian and Caleb hustled all weekend. Every time we sent a text requesting our car, we found the car waiting before we got to the lobby. We loved our experience.

The valet team of Aiden , Brian, and April were so polite and helpful to myself and husband especially when we checked in. We had a lovely time during our stay partly due to them. Kudos to their team!

Our stay was wonderful! Despite coming in late, anyone we interacted with was very pleasant and kind. We had great service from everyone, including our valets. Aiden, April, and Brian were very helpful.

The whole experience was a breath of fresh air. Me and my son have been traveling the pass 3 wks for baseball and this was one of the best. From the very start Brian and April were kind and very punctual. They exceeded expectations for valet. And the rooms were of excellent quality and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend!!!

Great historic hotel in the center of it all. Next to the Court house if you are in business. Staff was friendly and accommodating! Sebastian the valet was great!
