Convenient Airport Location, But Not the Typical SpringHill Suites Experience
Pros:

We recently stayed at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Colorado Springs South, and while the stay met our basic needs, it didn't quite live up to what we've come to expect from the SpringHill Suites brand.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and got us checked in quickly. We also appreciated that they accommodated our request for a room that had not housed pets, which was important to us.

The room was quiet, and we slept well, which is always a plus. The location is also convenient, especially if you need quick access to the airport or are just passing through the area.

That said, there were a few maintenance and housekeeping issues that took away from the experience. We experienced bathroom problems during our stay, and while the room was acceptable overall, it could use some attention and updating. The shower had excellent water pressure, but the shower itself felt small. The towels were minimal and lower quality than what we've experienced at other Marriott properties.

One thing to know is that this hotel is independently owned and operated, and in our experience, the overall standards felt different from the typical SpringHill Suites we've stayed at over the years.

Check-out was smooth and efficient, and the staff remained professional throughout our visit. Overall, I'd rate this stay 3 out of 5 stars. It's a decent option if you're looking for a quiet place near the airport, but if you're expecting the consistency normally associated with the SpringHill Suites brand, you may find a few areas where this property falls short.

Great place
Pros:

Nice facility. Despite being close to the airport, it was super quiet.

Cons:

Distance to Garden of the gods and manitou springs. About 20 minutes drive, not too bad.

Not sure if I'd book this hotel again.
Pros:

The lady who prepared breakfast was very nice. She greeted every guest, and ensured all items were plentiful. The one guy was not nice and ran out of sausage and didn't really seem to care.

Cons:

I requested a room with the view of the mountain instead got the view of a construction site next door which woke us up every morning. Also, upon checking in, the young man didn't even speak when I walked in. I had to speak to him first, and when I said hello, he responded with, "checking in?" When I asked about the view, he was very nonchalant and said he can't upgrade me because we were prepaid. It just seemed he didn't want to be there.

The staff was very accommodating I called and told them I wouldn't be there till late and they was very nice about it. The room was absolutely beautiful clean and smelled good. Breakfast was great

Overall a nice quiet hotel in a good area. Close to attractions.

Pros:

The breakfast was good. The location was good. Everything was very good except for the billing.

Cons:

I was over charged for the rooms by Booking.com. I tried to talk to a live person at Booking.com but was going to be charged $48 dollars. The hotel is in the process of trying to resolve the billing issue.

Parking $10 per day
Pros:

Room was good, nice & clean and in a good state of repair. Breakfast is incredibly basic. My biggest gripe is that they charge you $10 per day to park your car. Seems pretty petty & a way to buckle & dime you.
