The size of the room
The towels were the worst towels I’ve ever had to use. The plumbing was messed up in our room. The stools and tub were clogged.
The staff were so accommodating and wonderful. The 3 ladies who worked the bar/Starbucks counter were incredible, very engaging and most importantly they seemed very happy. My wife had a migraine and I spent some time in the evening and in the morning in the lobby. Mariah, Merceds and Reina went above and beyond the call of duty to help me feel comfortable. They are wonderful representations of the organization. The location was great, so many cool little bars, restaurants in walking distance. The facilities were clean and in good condition.
This has nothing to do with the hotel, but the area, which was wonderful, was a little different than what I expected. Very nightclubby area. Which was cool but just a little less "old couple" friendly than what we expected.
Very clean, friendly staff. Looked nice and good location if you want to be close to old town
Check in took 30 plus minutes and we got traded off twice. Also breakfast not included
I was well treated and appreciated the good service I got behind the bar
Laura at the bar was amazing!!! Reina was too amazing! Def recommend this place!
My work hosted an evening mixer and Laura and Reina who were working the bar were absolutely fantastic! All our guests had a great experience and were impressed with their service. Greatly appreciate these ladies and their efforts to make our out-of-town guests welcome. The prime location to great restaurants, bars and clubs, music venues, and local shops is also convenient for guests staying here.
The location. That’s it.
It was very dirty and not updated. The shower head was barely working, part of the ceiling was falling off. Stains on the bedding. Stains on the fabric behind the toilet. Gave us one towel for two people. Never came to clean the room.
It has become terrible. Told me breakfast went until 10am, it closes at 9:30am. No bath floor towels. No water for status members. The breakfast used to have a lot of options and now it doesn't have hardly anything. Homeless outside everywhere. Going to stay at a different property from here on out. Not going to waste my status here.

The room was very clean and spacious.
Need a pool
Great location for the whole Wichita area with some nice restaurants nearby. Mercedes,Dave and Mike were great in the Courtyard kitchen and dining room. We are grateful for their kindness.
A Continental breakfast without juice or tea? Really? It's the new corporate policy, I'm told. Disappointing breakfast menu, under the new ownership. By the way, a better breakfast is free at Hampton Garden Inn on Douglas, and parking is $5/day less. None of this reflects on the staff, who were very nice.
We went to Wichita for the 1st-time ever this past weekend for a family wedding and stayed at the Courtyard Wichita at Old Town. We are Marriott lovers and have Titanium status. Almost never make a poor review, however, you need to be aware that this hotel recently changed ownership and the offerings and service are not good. Check in was rude (Claire was her name) and wanted us to pay more. We actually switched rooms 2 hours later when another person was at the front desk because she gave us a smaller room initially. We were also told that the staff intentionally turns off the inexpensive coffee machine in the mornings so guests go to the breakfast counter and pay $3 more (yes, $3 more) for a cup of coffee in the morning. Really don't care about recognition for status, though important to note that none was given at any point in time if you care about that. Our room got house keeping service 1 time for a 3-night stay. I'm giving this a 2-star rating because the location is good and some of the staff was friendly, we just couldn't believe new management here has some of the up-charging policies they do. So would strongly suggest you stay elsewhere, unless you want to be nickel and dimed...
Booking canceled when I arrived. Hotel was full so no option to stay. Staff did not know why. No authority no initiative and no manager available. Utterly disgraceful.
It was tidy.
The location. Due to high club attendance the property parking was full and had to drive around a few times.
Breakfast
Easy check in. Walking distance from many things. Great breakfast, I always look for a hotel with breakfast. Clean room, bigger than I expected.
Noone at the front desk when I got there, had a little difficulty pulling my name as the reservation put my last name first and host did not seem patient. Felt a little rushed.
Hotel was good, the Bartender Teaqua was AMAZING. She served my Husband and I and our friends with great customer service.! Always asked us if we were good, if we needed anything! She definitely deserves a raise!!
