The close proximity to the college my son will be attending.
When making reservations was not told about hotel going through complete renovations. The pull out couch in my room was the dirtiest I have ever seen.
The location was ideal for my business trip.
I didn’t know they were under major renovations, or I would not have stayed there. The narrow walk to the elevator because of everything in the way from the construction was not pleasant. Everything was dirty, dusty and noisy. There was no restaurant or bar, which is another reason I chose this hotel. Fitness center was closed. None of this was listed on Booking.com or I would’ve chose another hotel. $194 was not a deal for the condition the hotel is in. I also had to have them change my room as they gave me one of their “new” rooms and it was dark, and three of the overhead recessed lightbulbs were burned out. The one they moved me to was more when I was used to for a Courtyard, but every time the heat came on, it sounded like a freight train in the room, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was permanently on.
Staff.
Under construction. No water from 11 am to 4 pm. Both days. On a weekend? $300/night in Lebanon is high but I understand supply/demand.
the staff was polite. The location is close to Dartmouth
We were informed upon check in that the water would be turned off from 10 am - 4 pm the following day. We were also notified that the work out facilities were not available due to construction.
Very clean room and comfortable bed. Good location for hospital appointment.
Upon arrival around 3PM, were told that water for whole building was shut off until at least 4-5PM. Water back on by 5:30. But had no hot water in lavatory or shower . Renovations being done interfered with hot water in the room. Lukewarm temp from faucet would go to cold within a few seconds.
Tried to contact front desk from in-room phone after 6PM x3 with no answer(just went to dial tone). Finally went to front desk and was told that someone from the renovation team would be coming in to fix it. Never happened before we retired for the night. Still no hot water in AM as we left.
Location was great for my meetings.
No Complimentary Breakfast OR EVEN COFFEE or TEA. Warm water only on the night I arrived. I was ok in the morning.
AC was irritating.. never a constant temp.
Bathroom was only meh.
Location was safe
The pool wasn’t accessible, the pull out bed could hardly be considered a bed. My child couldn’t even sleep in it bc it was so uncomfortable. The room was hot and guest have no access to the thermometer. The fan hardly kicked on throughout the night. Food was mediocre at best.
Clean
Ports for charging devices
no. breakfast
My room was 430. The couple in the next room were talking in a normal tone but the sound went right through the wall. I could hear every word of their conversation. Most of it was not too personal, but it was as though they were in my room. Paper thin walls. they apparentlly went to sleep at 11:30 so I was able to get some sleep.
The room was huge, the parking was easy, the receptionists were both super helpful, the barista and bartender was friendly and helpful, and there was lots of space to sit and work or have coffee.
I was visiting my son in Hanover, so I had to drive in everyday - but that's not the hotel's fault.
Very reasonably priced, very comfortable, batting and pillows excellent.
The local internet strength was very weak made it difficult to work.
Close to downtown
Nothing
The room a/c unit was so loud neither my wife nor I were able to get any rest. The hotel should revamp their heating/cooling system so a guest could at least concentrate enough to read a book or hear the tv or have a conversation. I doubt we will stay there again even though it is very close to the Medical Center.
Clean room and convenient for the area we were going to
