Very clean, the bartender n the Joe Caine bar as very kind and helpful.. I don’t remember her name, but she was thin and had an auburn/red looking bob. She was great!
Attention to detail
Conveniently located. Loved the gulf cart option vs Uber
Handicap room had a tub only…no walk-in shower for wheelchair access.
Only negative I have was that the 8th floor terrace lights were out. They sent someone up to look at them but they were never able to get them to come on.
Beautiful clean and quiet
Apart from its great location and excellent valet crew I really can’t understand the hype behind this hotel. We were put in a room in the historical building, even though I had requested a tower room. The room was in rough shape. The furniture was falling apart and beyond worn definitely overdue for replacement. Requested to be switched to the room I had booked expecting it to be of better standing, lady at the front desk, who was void of personality, seemed irritated, but agreed to have us moved. The room in the tower building was not much better. A little less wear but still just as dated. The bathroom is in dire need of a makeover. The shower is tiny, it took all my husband strength to turn the water on, and the showerhead is definitely not made for tall people. The grout was disgusting on both the floor and the shower and don’t even get me started on the quality of towels and toilet paper. There was only one night table and no USB plugs to be found.
Great location the staff was very professional and helpful and responsive.
I didn’t realize I couldn’t use my Marriott Bonvoy for points because I booked through Booking.com
Clean, comfortable and friendly staff
Very comfortable stay
We booked this hotel on a whim en route to Nola when he hit bad weather. What a fantastic unexpected gem! 💎 This hotel is lively, fun, beautiful, and full of hospitality. We only stayed one night, but it was a great stay.
Parking
The location is excellent. The service was great, and the whispering arch is fantastic.
I was hoping for more of a boutique, old-world vibe but the rooms are very modern and generic. For one of the oldest hotels in Mobile it was no different to any good-quality generic hotel.
