Pros:

do not know didn't eat there. Too expensive.

Cons:

could of had a microwave, & a actually coffee pot, not a Kuerig in the room. needs a bigger fridge. only had 1 wash rag, one toilet paper roll for 4 people, no complimentary breakfast of any kind. one of the staff, when we checked in was rude.

A joy to stay here
Pros:

Staff was professional, courteous, kind, and engaging. Truly wonderful.

Cons:

The pillows were not great. Should have brought our own. No support, and felt like it was suffocating you.

We would come back!

Our stay was very last minute and unexpected. The staff was so friendly and the hotel is lovely. We really liked being so close to the river and other shops.

Pros:

We were in town for the Savannah Banana baseball game. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were amazing - best night's sleep in a long time! Restaurant was great! Great food and beverages and the staff was amazing!

The Waffle House of Hotels
Pros:

Horrible, hot, cheap, overpriced, worn bedding, unusable refrigerator, uncomfortable restaurant, no ambiance, unusable pool and hot tub, socially tone deaf- staff was wearing pride flags on the 4th of July Americas 250th- nothing patriotic anywhere in the hotel. I’ll not be returning to the Coralville Hyatt in the future.

Great hotel, service left me without a smile
Pros:

Great location and building. Not great service though. I expect more from a Hyatt than I would a budget hotel. I left my small bag on the vanity when I departed. Nothing of significant value really, but my prescription medications were in it. I didn’t realize until the next morning when I was getting ready for work. I called the hotel let them know the room and my info. No they didn’t find anything. Seems to me it’s an opportunity for a hotel to provide exceptional service when something like this happens. I would be a customer for life if I received a call or email that I left something behind. Too much to expect these days I suppose?

Wonderful hotel and location!
Pros:

Loved that the hotel was within walking distance of Iowa river landing and its shops/restaurants. Realistically it’s such a centrally located hotel- about 10 minutes from Iowa city downtown and 15-25 from other areas of Iowa (de monies, Williamsburg, etc.)

Hyatt was clean, lively and we were met with respect and smiles. The staff were accommodating and kind.

Great for business and pleasure!

The staff is efficient and friendly and my room was lovely. I really enjoyed the nature walk area and the well-maintained landscaping around the hotel. The location is perfect for shopping and there are a variety of restaurants within easy walking distance.

Lovely Hotel
Pros:

I loved this hotel. It was super fancy and really clean. I usually have pretty high standards for Hyatt hotels. It has a convention center connected as well as parking nearby. Super close to anything in Iowa city you need to get to. I definitely plan on staying here again.
