From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Best hotel to stay when in Penang
Pros:

Have stayed here countless times, have also stayed in newer facilities or international branded ones, but i keep returning to G Hotel mostly. From check in to check out, everything is always a breeze. Any email correspondence prior to arrival, is always promptly replied to with more than adequate information. Service from all levels, only one word: REMARKABLE. Good location, good food, good service, nice rooms, facilites....can't ask for more.

Teh Tarik tells alot
Pros:

We had a really nice breakfast during our stay. It was quite busy that morning but the overall experience was still okok and comfortable.

Just wanted to highlight this guy Yusoff Ohma, though breakfast period is busy but he still took the extra effort to personally make a cup of teh tarik for my old mother. Really appreciate that small gesture, it meant a lot to us and made our morning even better without having the feeling of being a little lost.

Great service like this definitely doesn’t go unnoticed 👍

Love this hotel - our 12th visit!
Pros:

Perfectly located with great access to the mall next door and easy access to the heart of GeorgeTown.
Rooms are modern, very large and well appointed. Food is great and I recommend upgrading to the executive floor for some lovely food and drink.

The best stay ever in Penang
Pros:

I have stayed 2 nights and experienced the best one through all my stays in Penang. I hoped I could stay more nights in this hotel if I had more time in Penang.

Comfortable, clean and calm hotel for relaxing
Pros:

Room was very clean and spacious, and most importantly very quiet! Gym was really good.

Cons:

Restaurant had on two occasions quite slow service or things were forgotten from the order etc.

Please improve your wifi coverage.

Location and can find food easily.

Cons:

First, my room is far from lift lobby. Not as what i asked for. WiFi is very very bad. Only 2 bars. I told the reception to take a look when I am out. When I am back to my room, the WiFi seem to be worse than before. This is my third time stayed. This trip is my worse trip so far compared to my two previous trip..

It was an overall pleasant experience because of the convenience and the cleanliness.
Pros:

Linked to gurney plaza and hotel is very clean. Hotel staff are nice and friendly.

Cons:

Hotel buggy is not in service every day. Ventilation of the toilet in executive room is not working and Aircon in the bedroom is not cold. Room service food served cold.
