From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. I’ve stayed here many times and would definitely come back. The location is excellent — right next to shopping, cafés and bars. The pool area is quiet and private with great bean bag floats, and the gym is clean, modern and well equipped. Breakfast is plentiful and the Executive level perks are a lovely bonus.

All the staff are amazing — from the front desk to housekeeping, security and bell staff — everyone is friendly and helpful. The Executive room was spacious and comfortable, though a little dark and could benefit from extra lighting. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Cons:

Nothing - I keep coming back!

Nice staff but unfortunately wouldn’t stay again

Cons:

Very poor restaurant service. We had to leave without food as we waited so long. Ordered lamb but they returned 30mins later saying not available.

Room smelt of smoke.

Aside from the above, staff did their best to make amends.

Amazing stay
Pros:

The allowed me to check in early. All the staff were so friendly. The service in the club lounge was attentive and exceptional

Nice hotel.
Pros:

Last time I stayed in this hotel is about 10 years ago.
Shopping mall is just besides, got a lot of choice of foods.

Cons:

Location is good but very jam during weekends and office hours.
Traffic is really very bad, unlike 10 years ago when i was here.
The main lobby only got one lane to use.

The room floor is a bit dirty. The staff who vacuum the room, only do for certain area. Not the whole room.
For this, the hotel can be improved.

The room given to me is not very privacy.
Next door window can say hi to you.

The floor entrance of the toilet is very slippery, do not step on it.

Best location to stay in George Town, beside Gurney Plaza with lots of retail and eating choices.
Pros:

Hard to beat this hotel, everything in tiptop shape, great location, amazing buffet breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing negative about the hotel but traffic seems always busy in that area.

Pros:

The overall experience was fantastic - Great hotel complimented by exceptional staff always demonstrating excellent customer service. The location was good and with the convenience of the shopping mall along side the hotel made for a great stay

la chambre est spacieuse et confortable. l'hôtel est calme. l'Hôtel est à proximité des centres commerciaux et des restaurants.

Cons:

Petit déjeuner de mauvaise qualité. J'ai dû payer un jus d'orange frais (leur jus d'orange est chimique) alors que le petit déjeuner était inclus dans le prix de la chambre.
