The staff were great! Excellent massage! Good food. We could never get hot water for more than a couple of minutes.
This was an amazing location with beautiful scenery. The staff were so sweet and welcoming, the food at the restaurant was great, the spa service was so relaxing. Being able to trek to the local waterfalls right out your door was also a huge bonus. If you are looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay, book here! Just make sure to pack your bug spray!
Cottage très agréable et spacieux . Un balcon avec chaises table et petit canapé , bacon donnant sur une vue à couper le souffle . Le staff est très professionnel et vraiment très sympathique, aux petits soins. Service de laundry super génial avec une dry room géniale pour sécher les chaussures. Le nom des célébrités y ayant séjourné est non loin de la réception.
All staffs are very nice and kind. The resort is well harmonized with nature.
Le calme tout en haut des montagnes, la vue est vraiment top. Rando multi cascades ou rizières il y a le choix.

We expected something different based on the reviews, but let’s just say that it was ok. The cottage had humidity (the bed was nearly wet), it was dark (think cave) and there was no possibility to move from the hotel, unless you want to see waterfalls (hiking). If you wanted to leave, you either walked to the next village to rent a motorbike or paid a driver several hundred K to drive you around. Don’t get me wrong, the waterfalls were amazing (just make sure to bring money when you hike, our hotel receptionist forgot to mention this!) and the views are spectacular.
We won’t be coming back.
Puri Lumbung has a gorgeous location high in the mountains with stunning views and good hikes to waterfalls. The property is beautifully landscaped. It hosted live traditional music during the dinner hour and one excellent dance performance while we were there. The food in he restaurant is very good. The staff are friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Fantastisk sted, udsigten fra vores værelse var skøn, servicen var helt i top.
Forvent man bor ude i naturen.
Great accomodation with fabulous view over the valey and rice terraces
We had a beautiful view of the valley and sunsets. A waterfall is right next to the room and was loud but soothing. The path to the waterfalls starts from the hotel. It is confusing at first but then becomes clear. The map is pretty bad, especially around the village.

Nous avons passé un très beau moment à Puri Lumbung. Le cadre est magnifique, les équipes sont adorables et de très nombreuses activités sont proposées, il n'y a vraiment pas le temps de s'ennuyer.
Le seul regret que nous avons est de ne pas y être resté plus longtemps.
Dejlig og roligt ophold. Flot naturoplevelse. Folk på Bali er generelt så venlige, men specielt i Munduk og personalet på Puri skriver historie :)
Die Zimmer sehen ganz und gar nicht aus wie auf den Fotos. Die Anlage war vor Jahrzehnten sicher einmal nett angelegt, ist es mittlerweile aber leider gar nicht mehr.
Im Restaurantbereich haben wir eine Ratte gesichtet (natürlich ist es ein offen gebautes Gebäude und die Tierwelt daher nicht vollkommen ausgeschlossen - eine Ratte geht aber zu weit).
Die Zimmer haben keine Fensterscheiben in den Fenstern! - sie sind vollkommen offen. Absolut nichts schützt einen vor der Tierwelt, obwohl die Hütten mitten in die Natur gebaut und von der Pflanzenwelt umgeben sind. - Es gibt Holzfensterläden mit denen man die Fenster „verschließen“ kann - aber auch diese sind keinesfalls dicht, sondern bieten genug Möglichkeiten für Ungeziefer aller Art ins Zimmer zu gelangen.
Der Gipfel ist der riesige Spalt (sicher 20 cm) zwischen Wand und Beginn des Daches. - dh. auch hier gibt es keinen Schutz vor Tieren. - In unserem Zimmer hat uns schon eine Handteller-große Spinne begrüßt. Nachdem diese vom Personal hinausgetragen wurde, haben wir später auch noch selbst eine riesige Heuschrecke hinausgetragen. Am nächsten Morgen konnte ich eine ebenfalls Handteller-große Spinne dabei beobachten, wie sie einfach durch diesen riesigen Spalt in unser Zimmer gekrabbelt ist - Gott sei Dank konnte ich sie wieder hinausscheuchen.
Man muss anmerken, dass das Personal durchaus freundlich und im Rahmen des ihnen möglichen sehr bemüht war. Sie trifft an unserer schlechten Erfahrung keine Schuld.
We stayed at #23 cottage overlooking the mountains and rice fields. Gardens well maintained. Also got massage done from there 24NZD an hour.
No intercom, bed squeaks when moving, dogs barking at night, breakfast was ok.
Overall a nice hotel to stay for couple of nights.
