We stayed here for 4 nights in level 12, and the room was clean and spacious. It was quiet, there were no noises (construction work going on), and WiFi was okay. Interior design for the room needs a bit of upgrading, facilities available like laundry, kettle, hairdryer, and mini fridge. There's shops just around the corner such as restaurants and family Mart. I love that when we walk out of the hotel and there is the train station very convenient.

Not much around the area but right next door to metro.

The room was large and decorated very beautifully. Didn’t have the best time staff/ service wise but that could be because we only spoke English. We liked that it was so close to the subway station.

靠近马路，所以非常非常吵，夜里睡觉几次被吵醒。然后呢，就是可以听到隔壁的声音，所以很吵的。不建议来，另外门口保安态度很差啊

객실이 깨끗하고 관리가 잘되는 편입니다. 호텔 바로앞이 지하철역이고 걸어서 10분쯤 거리에 쉬자후이 번화가가 있습니다. 우루무치길을 따라 걷다가 흥산로 돌아오는 산책길도 좋습니다

出入交通方便，餐飲服務也好，價格不貴，房間夠大，沐浴設施也好，水夠熱夠急，大堂員工服務也熱情，一切都很滿意，房價0k。

Nice hotel facilities. Tidy room with clean bed sheet and pillow cases. Location is very good and easy to access the restaurant out side the hotel. Very close to french concession in Shanghai. You may have a sightseeing there with amazing experience.

I stayed here for 2 nights as I was attending a conference being hosted on property. This is a lovely hotel with courteous staff. Everyone I encountered working at the hotel spoke some English. The hotel lobby is a bit dated, but very well kept and extremely open and airy. My room was lovely and has been updated since some of the older pictures have been posted on this site. The bed was comfortable, room large, and linens were great. The bathroom amenities were on point with other western style hotels. The WiFi worked perfectly for me and i did not find myself having to log back in as others have pointed out. The included breakfast was good, some Western and some Eastern choices. They had an egg/omelette station and good coffee. Overall, if you are in this part of Shanghai, this is a great choice.

Hotel is very near subway station which is around 30 meters from the hotel backdoor. Room is quite clean. However, there are no convenience stores or coffee shops nearby.

Fairly large 4-star hotel very close to the Metro - and about 45 mins from the airport by road. Check in was fine. Rooms are spacious - and appear to have been renovated since some of the photos here. Comfy bed - not too soft. Wall mounted USB chargers are handy. Bathroom very clean with a good monsoon shower. I had no problems with the A/C - and the room was cool (at least in early autumn). I didn't notice any cigarette smell on the 18th floor. There wasn't any building work at night during my stay. The Wi-Fi is hopeless and the business centre's internet was worse still. Good 4G reception if you have enough data. Buffet breakfast was pretty standard but decent.

Overall, I thought it was better than many of the reviews - clean, comfortable and spacious with good A/C. No wow-factor but ideal for a business trip.

Breakfast was very Chinese - some more western choices preferred.

Close to Fudan University Medical School and the Metro.

Room amenities were adequate, except for shaver which the cleaning staff said they don't provide.

Cleaning staff took initiative to replace the toothbrush every day.
