Location good
No microwave or small fridge lived out of coolers for 5 days
Location was great, walking distance to where we wanted to go. The outside in the back was calming and beautiful. Rooms are spaced out where you can’t hear much
The patio in the back yard was excellent. Also we very much appreciated there being a bar and restaurant service there!
Only very, very minor complaint- the WiFi didn’t work
Cozy typical NH Inn. The outside yard and gardens are impressive.
Was a little musty. Would have been nice if had been aired out before arrival.
Coffee was available 24/7. Room was clean. I liked the gas stove in the room.
I missed that it was a self check in. Thus, it took a little while to realize how to determine our room. Once we learned that, we were all set.
Quaint, every room was different! Loved the restaurant on property!
Nothing.
cozy friendly atmosphere . staff was beyond accommodating . We plan on returning annually .
nothing everything was perfect!
I love the location and the Tavern! The room was comfortable. We were on the third floor and it just is a pain to carry the luggage up and down, but it is what it is!
Very nice place. They really knew to fix the tv . But otherwise it great place to visit
Very quaint old fashioned property.
Stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the room (more a small suite) and the bar.
Be aware some may struggle with steep and narrow stairs, but all part of its old charm. Nothing really to dislike!
Clean & quirky. Quiet.
I couldn’t stay longer
Room was oke , but not much to do.
There was nobody there, and the pub was closed
Pub was closed, not mutch to do.
Our stay at the Wildcat Inn and Tavern was really quite pleasant. We were messaged via Whatsapp when our room was ready and given instructions around entry to the Inn and the location of our room. There was also a letter for us in the entry way with some further info. We hadn't been anywhere that had this type of check-in process but we didn't mind at all, it was quite fun actually, and it felt personal despite not speaking to anyone. We were surprised by the size of the room which was very spacious and had a separate living area with a sofa and small table and chairs. Everything was comfy and it felt bright and airy. The rest of the hotel was quite quirky and we really like wandering about look at the things on the walls. It was nice and quiet - exactly what we needed as we were a little jetlagged. We knew this wasn't a luxury accommodation so it met our expectations. If you are happy with somewhere that is comfy and a bit quirky this is absolutely fine for a short stay or base for doing some lovely drives/hikes in the area.
We arrived at a time (Sunday) when the Tavern isn't open. On that particular evening it opened for drinks only as there was a sports game on. We went down for a couple and it was really lovely. I can imagine it is quite nice when there are more people and some music. There were limited options in a walkable distance for dinner (we had assumed there would be places locally but there isn't alot) so that is something that we would be aware of if we visited again. The rooms whilst clean and comfortable were a little run down, mainly the bathroom, but it wouldn't put us off staying again. The tea and coffee facilities were limited and were located downstairs rather than in the room. We also struggled to find ice and with no-one really around it felt abit like you were wandering about aimlessly.
