Arlington Hotel location was perfect. Just right off of the O'Connell Bridge in Central Dublin. Close to lots of transportation options, and walking to shops and food. The bar/restaurant on the main floor hosts many sporting watch events. Very lively crowds. The rooms are good size, not small European boutique style. Very clean. Service is wonderful. Both the front desk and house keeping staff go out of their way to help you.
Value is subjective. The location makes the price higher than most, but this was one of the only available places during my stay in the summer during busy sporting events. I would definitely stay again, though. But might chose a different season when prices are more reasonable.
The location was okay near Temple Bar.
The hotel bar is extremely loud. Even on a Sunday night, the music was blaring until 1:00 a.m. The hotel staff told us they had placed us in the quietest room on the fourth floor, but it was still far too noisy to sleep.
We asked if there were any quieter rooms available and what time the music would finish. We were told it would stop at 1:00 a.m. and that someone would call us back about moving rooms, but we never received a call.
The atmosphere was also incredibly antisocial, with football celebrations continuing late into the night, including people loudly banging drums. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay or a good night’s sleep, I would avoid staying here.
It was an ideal location for city centre
We were near the road and it was noisy
I have mixed feelings about the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, however, the music in the bar is terribly loud. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, so even on cooler days, it gets very hot inside. On top of that, my room overlooked the inner courtyard, where the noise from the air handling unit made it impossible to sleep, even with the windows closed. I would have originally given a lower rating, but a lovely receptionist named Anastassia was able to move me the next day to another room. This one also faced the inner courtyard, but the noise from the air handlers was much quieter, so I was finally able to get some sleep.
Super Lage
Recht laut
Location
It is well located in the city centre
The double bed is up against the wall, which means you have to get out over your partner to go to the toilet during the night and it was fairly noisy outside the room which meant it was hard to sleep at times
Location, bar
Carpet in our room 114 was terrible, all damaged and worn and in need of replacement
The room was a great size, the brekkie was lovely. The staff were very nice. The location is perfect..
The shower was a bit pokey but still great pressure from water.
Great location. Easy to find
Room was very warm, even though a fan was provided
Everything was excellent definitely would stay in the Arlington hotel again when visiting Dublin
