Everything. Great hotel. Great location
Great location, clean, helpful staff
Nothing really
Only one elevator whole time. I was on the 9th floor.
comfortable beds, nice linens, spacious rooms, very clean
two of the three hotel elevators were out of service
We attended Sutton Foster's show at the Vet last Saturday and decided to stay overnight in the city. The Renaissance Providence was the perfect hotel destination being directly next door to the theatre. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant before the show and afterwards enjoyed a few drinks and an appetizer in the hotel bar. Checkout at noon on Sunday allowed us to have a very relaxing Sunday morning. A perfect date night without a late commute home - we look forward to our next stay!
This was my first time visiting Rhode Island, and I truly had a wonderful first impression thanks to Jillian at the front desk.
From the moment I checked in this morning, she was exceptionally professional, warm, and welcoming. What stood out most was not only her kindness, but her genuine attentiveness. She carefully listened to every guest’s requests and did her very best to accommodate each one with patience and sincerity.
Her supportive attitude and calm presence made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. It is clear that she takes great pride in her work and cares deeply about providing excellent service.
Because of her, my first experience here in Rhode Island began on such a positive note. I sincerely hope the hotel recognizes her outstanding professionalism and dedication.
Location is great for downtown, the Vets and college visits. Valet parking - safer bet when loaded up w college gear. Rooms are good size and pretty quiet considering team stays. The on site pub/kitchen downstairs is the draw. Christopher, Lindsay, Steve at the bar - keeps it running smoothly and friendly. Glad I found it freshman year.
