Doncaster International Hotel

Checked in to a room with no bed and a disgusting carpet, human error was the answer. Checked in to a second room. Look at the walls. No restaurant for food. We laid our staff off for COVID and we have not started then again. After a 14 hour day this is exactly what you need. NEVER AGAIN. complaint sent to customer services and their reply was almost oh well. You could have gone out for food.

Friendly young mn checked me in. Clean and tidy , nice comfortable bed. Everything very good. Bar was closed by the time i checked in although it was fairly late by that time. would stay again here .

Recently stayed at this hotel as we were attending the races and concert nearby, we were a bit dubious about staying here as we had read bad reviews, but we both had an amazing experience, all staff were friendly and helpful, check in was quick and easy and the rooms were spacious and modern. We will definitely be stopping here again if we ever come back to Doncaster in the future

Booked for a weekend away for concerts and racing. The name of the hotel sounds very upmarket but don’t be fooled. Not cheap and the room was very disappointing! Cracked wash basin held together with glue (?), disgusting brown stains in the toilet and stains in the shower cubicle. Hairdryer not working. The overall appearance of the hotel is that it needs a good clean and revamp! On a positive note the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff fantastic, but expensive, dated and cleanliness not great. No reflection on the staff on shift

Literally broken sink. Wallpaper peeling off. Booked and charged for breakfast but was told no breakfast being served. Waiting for refund. Very unhappy because we booked especially for this. Pictures taken. Would like an investigation and at least some compensation.

Good size room comfortable bed. Good wifi
Decent size TV. Excellent shower. Staff friendly always smiling.

Stayed with two children staff were really friendly the room was clean the beds comfortable we had a great stay

Our engineers did not stay at this hotel. When they pulled up outside they remembered the last time they stayed at this hotel and it was not pleasant. This hotel appears to be used to house homeless people. Which would not be a problem in it self. But our engineers witnessed drug use and deals outside and within the foyer of the hotel. Also last time they stayed there was alot of noise throughout the night. I have emailed roomsbooked to complain and ask for a full refund. We would really appreciate your help with this and also it would be helpful if you could change the rating of the hotel until it has sorted these issues.

Basic and budget - but absolutely fine, clean and loads of free parking

The hotel should be closed to paying guests as it seems to be a council dumping ground for homeless people and substance abusers. Security in the entrance and lots of damage to see on arrival. Wouldn’t like to have had kids with me.

Booked for 1 night stay for work. Room was clean but overall appearance was outdated nothing like the advertised images.
All on-site facilities were closed ‘due to Covid’ which was not mentioned at all at any booking stage which means eating during your stay is a car drive away.
Overall I won’t be returning.

Good stay everything clean and tidy

Do not stay here. The place is full of drug and alcohol addicts. Room was disgusting and smelt awful. Bathroom smelt of bleach. I wouldn’t even rate the hotel 0.3 never 7.3 that is stated on hotels.com

The worst hotel - by a clear margin, Used as a hostel for drunk, spice-smoking, noisy and threatening homeless people. The only 'hotel' I have ever encountered with 2 registered doorman, 24x7.
The room was dirty, the hotel was dismal. This hotel has the Doncaster record for guests wo check out(suicide) rather than check out. Google the hotel. The appalling air of despondency, or was it the sewer smell in the shower, that pervades this establishment is not quickly forgotten.

The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The rooms i have stayed in previously have always been clean and spacious and the bed comfortable.

Room itself was good .looked ran down on the outside.

Worst hotel ive attempted to stay at. When we went into the room it stank of sewers. We ask for alternative rooms and the only other room was in same state

It was the worst place I have ever stayed and the place was full of undesirable guests. I felt unsafe and locked myself in the room until I could check out (I had to stay as I had to work and there was nowhere else I could work from as it is in the middle of nowhere ) It was filthy and stank of cigarette.
I will make a formal complaint. I did call hotels.com and was promised a call back but not happened yet.
