The staff were all wonderful and couldn't be more helpful.

Stayed in Dakota Sunday night, as we had a early flight in the morning, excellent hotel, very welcoming, staff were brilliant nothing to much trouble, highly recommend 5 star ⭐

Booked this hotel strictly because they have an airport shuttle and our driver, Craig, was excellent.

Ok this is funny. I was tired from traveling for 24 hours and they let me check in early. I woke up at 5 and thought I had just slept about 10 hours and thought it was morning so I got ready and checked out for my next destination. But it was only 5 in the afternoon so I would say I had a very expensive nap. I kind of wish someone had questioned me about checking out so early. It wasn’t dark until I was on the train to Berwick on Tweed and I asked my friend “is it night?” I was very confused and jet lagged.
We have stayed in the Dakota hotel many time before & always been extremely happy with the hotel and its staff & service.
I booked this for our anniversary & upgraded our room to a suite.
The hotel was as usual exceptional, staff were very welcoming & extremely professional.
The way my wife & I was treated made this stay even more special than previous stays,

The hotel was fine and the amenities were up to par. Our issue was this: We arrived on May 12th to check-in and with no instructions, temporarily parked our rental in the lot. We checked-in, dropped our bags and we left for the airport to return the rental. We were advised that the hotel has an automated charhing system for parking. and we informed the desk clerk that we were not parking a cae over night. She did nothing to stop the system from charging us, but we only found out after we were home and Enterprise emailed that a "citation" had been issued for our vehicle. I've disputed the charge but Enterprise is only forwarding the charge. The Dakota as made it very difficult to contact them, though I emailed them through there site and have not heard back. This was inappropriate and there lack of response tells us that they do not care. Be forwarned that if you park a car in there lot with no intention of leaving it over night, you will be charged within 15 minutes. Poor customer service in this regard. I do hope the hotel staff sees this. Gonzalez-Morera on May 12th, 2026.
We had a great stay with excellent service. We really appreciated the shuttle service to and from the airport, especially Claig’s friendly service. The breakfast was great. Thanks for having us!
