Service was great, and room was spacious and comfy.

Cons:

That the lift was under maintenance when we arrived and we were on level 3 and had a young girl on crutches. Also having to pay for parking when it comes with the booking at every other booking I’ve made.

Fine for two nights in Wellington
Pros:

Near the city centre, just a short walk. Very clean and tidy had everything we needed. 10 minute drive to the ferry for South Island

Cons:

Quite small and no room for 2 cases. Quite dark and surrounded by high buildings so little natural light

Pros:

The desk clerk was exceptional! She gave great directions. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve a problem with the washer/dryer.

Cons:

The parking is really a tight space. Lots of stairs outside to get from the hotel to the main street. The washer was new but seemed to want to keep our clothes. The staff is still trying to learn how to work it. Which was a problem because we had an early departure time and the lobby was closed.

Good city location
Pros:

Location was great, within walking distance of everything. We paid for parking that was right outside. Bedding and towels were clean.

Cons:

Slightly confused by the high ratings, it doesn’t compare to any other accomodation I have stayed in during trips to UK and European cities with a similar booking.com rating. I found it really quite grubby - piles of dust in the corners and along the edge of the room. We may have just struck unlucky with our specific room. We were only there for 2 nights, arriving late the 1st night and leaving very early to catch a ferry on the final morning so it was ok for what we needed. I would look to stay elsewhere if I ever visited Wellington again.

Clean and fresh and nicely decorated. Elevator to our floor. Washer/dryer plus detergent and drying rack.Thank you! Pleasant staff. Close to Lambton Quay. On-site parking.

Cons:

Very close to parking decks, so not great views and occasional noise, but not much.
