Modern, clean, handy.
Pros:

Very well appointed and very clean modern apartment. View isn't anything to write home about, but the location is terrific for exploring the city.

Cons:

I always hate paying for parking, but it's advertised so not unexpected!

Pros:

The apartment was very spacious and everything felt fresh and clean with pleasing decor. The location was convenient once we had the instructions for reaching the hotel from Lambton Quay via a neighbouring building elevator. Booking car parking for the final night of our stay was straightforward. We would happily stay at the Gilmer again next time we are in Wellington.

Cons:

Housekeeping is in the afternoon only which is a little unusual but wasn't an issue for us as we didn't need our room to be serviced daily.

Perfect stay to begin our North Island adventure
Pros:

Loved the room. Had everything we needed and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Only thing missing is a nice shampoo and conditioner. For ladies, hotel shampoos are a little harsh.

Very central location to CBD.
Pros:

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She explained a short cut to the cbd . We were able to park our car before check in. Our room was ready early and we got a room upgrade which was all so lovely.
