Pros:

Everything! Very good choice of food at every meal. Staff so helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Excellent location. The pool was relaxing with music playing but not too loud. I went to some of the classes in the gym which were great. I also used the indoor pool and sauna. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely come back to this hotel!

Cons:

The only thing, which didn't actually annoy us but might not please others, was that our room overlooked the next door hotel which was quite noisy and the entertainment went on a bit later. Obviously this isn't the fault of Tui Blue but if you want a quieter room should be taken into account.

Exceptional Grand Azure Staff
Pros:

I won’t replicate the average review, instead I’d like to praise the hotel staff and the way they dealt with and supported myself and my partner.

On day 6 of our 7 day holiday, my partner became extremely unwell due to a gastrointestinal virus. Muhammet who is one of the two guest relation team members, at the hotel, was on hand to translate with the hotel nurse, then the doctor, which transpired that my partner had to be admitted to hospital.

My partner was admitted for 2 days and was then discharged. Our insurance company arranged the extended stay, however, Muhammet and Yasmine, who is also a hotel guest relations team member, were amazing and we cannot thank them enough for their kindness and compassion.

At meal times, in the lobby or just wandering around, whenever they saw us they would always ask how we were and how my partner’s recover was going. They truly went above and beyond to help us.

This is the kind of service and support we would have expected from the TUI rep at the hotel, but sadly she failed to even ask how my partner’s recover was and had guided me to call TUI regarding my extended stay, as this wasn’t her job. Surely, as a TUI rep she is there to support holiday makers, instead of adding to their stress?

Thankfully the hotel employ amazing people, and both Tuba in reception and Tuba working in the bar were exceptional as well, again asking how my partner’s recovery was whenever they saw me.

Just a couple of comments on the hotel:

The entertainment is mainly good, there were 2 groups on separate nights from South Africa who were amazing and really got the guests dancing and enjoying the night. There was also a live band and again this was a really good night. There was an acrobat evening, and whilst the acrobats were good for a total of 7 mins that they performed, the other 40mins was a school like production of people dancing to Michael Jackson songs. The rest was very unforgettable.

The rooftop restaurant was amazing, and definitely worth a visit as it’s part of your all inclusive package.

Location is approx 35mins walk into Marmaris via a promenade, there are also hop on busses which cost 50lira (approx 80pence) each way

There is a no smoking zone around the pool which is great, but people were ignoring this and staff don’t say anything.

Delightful stay in this TUI Blue Hotel
Pros:

First time staying in a TUI Blue, this hotel and the staff were amazing. Big thank you to Maxine (on site TUI Rep) Ruth and Mehmood from the Management team who made sure all Guests were happy and satisfied with all aspects of the Hotel and not forgetting Zeynep in the restaurant, always on hand to help and always greeted with a smile.
All the staff were very friendly, Entertainment, Activities were on point, rooms were cleaned daily and to a very good standard.
Hotel is situated in one of the best spots, on the main road offering loads of shops, the Bazaar and Marina.
Very safe. There were a few Solo travellers who said they felt safe within the area of the hotel and main road.
Plenty to eat and also offering a delightful Afternoon tea each day between 3-5pm with a selection of mouth-watering cakes and pastries. 24hour Snack bar.
Able to stroll along the beachfront/Marina to the Bazaar and also for the 'fit' you can take a nice stroll to Icmeler and probably jump on the local bus back to the hotel.
Very clean and well-kept Hotel, no noise after the entertainment ended therefore easy to have a ‘sound’ sleep.
Beware of the bins situated outside some of the lifts, bumped our toes a few times, but this had been highlighted so hopefully the management team have come up with a resolution. Will definitely book this hotel again

Just Excellent
Pros:

What a fantastic hotel. I read the reviews before I choose this hotel and I haven’t been let down at all.

It’s a lovely setting right on the beach, about 45 minutes walk down the beach front to Marmaris or to Icmeler the other way.

The food is nice, always plentiful of choice, plus the outside restaurant is really nice, the staff are really nice and helpful.

The pool is cold though, lots of activities to do with the entertainment team. Music and entertainment finish around 10pm, the only downside which isn’t the hotels fault is the loudness of the hotel next door which has music blasting out till 11pm at the earliest.

I’ve been to many places other the years and this one I can say I would come back to if I get the chance.

UNBELIEVABLE
Pros:

From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we were treated like royalty, anyone will be hard pushed to have a bad thing to say about this hotel,
Arrived around 4pm and was sent to the grab & go section where there were cold sandwiches, fruit, cakes and drinks for us to help ourselves to, we then made our way upto our room to find our cases already delivered.
1st impressions was wow!
The bed is absolutely massive, as well as the shower, dressing gowns, slippers, shoe shining kits, sewing kits, body wash, conditioner just to name a few all standard in the room.
We freshened up and went for walk round to find our bearings,
The hotel and grounds were immaculately kept,
Food:- breakfast, lunch and dinner was exceptional all in the main buffet restaurant, you’ll be hard pushed to find something you don’t like, and was all cooked and prepared perfectly.
There is also a bar & grill behind the pool bar where you select from a menu, again the choice and quality was amazing.
Crepe station & cake station also at your service,
The Al a carte restaurant on the top floor is a must try (you get 1 visit only) don’t miss out on this !
Drinks:- waiters will bring you drinks while you grab your food in the buffet,
Pool bar and beach bar service was great,
In the evening the waiters just come round making sure no glass is empty,
If your sat at the main bar the service is 2nd to none ( special mention for yousef, you will never have an empty glass)
Entertainment:- daytime was being ran by mustaf & chacha where they’re doing bowls, darts, table tennis etc etc who run around tirelessly joining in with everyone without being to invasive.
The evening shows were great too (DO NOT MISS THE GOLDEN TONES !!)
Room cleaning :- our maid Nessrim came in daily with clean towels and fresh water was faultless
Nothing was to much trouble for anyone,
If there was one thing I had to moan about if would be the beach, and that would be walking into the sea, it’s very stoney so bring some beach shoes
All in all a massive 10/10 from us and we’re now looking to rebook for early October
We were in room 302 you get the sun 1st thing in the morning on the balcony, no noise from outside. I would prefer an evening sun on the balcony next time so I think this would overlook the tennis court or the main road ( you would be still be far enough away from the road
So can’t imaging it being noisy)
Any questions just ask, I’m happy to help
See you soon Grand Azur
