Grande Shores Ocean Resort

Location was good, right on beach was nice, pool options were really nice

My family and I had a wonderful experience here. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff was very kind and friendly!! We only stayed one night but it was well worth it. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Sean at the front desk!! The day my family and I checked out of the hotel we visited the beach afterwards right next to the hotel (as the hotel is right off Myrtle beach) and I set my wallet down and misplaced my wallet somewhere. I had retraced my steps and Sean was super helpful. He helped me look everywhere. Later that night I got a message from another couple that was staying at the same hotel that their son had found my wallet on the beach earlier that day. I had the couple turn it in to Sean at the front desk and Sean notified me right away. He also helped me make sure I got my wallet back and sent it in the mail and contacted me to let me know it had been sent with proper documentation and would be to me in a timely manner. I was super thankful and would recommend this hotel to anyone 😊❤️🙏🏼

Sarah was the first person we met at the checkin this lady was very friendly and professional. She had all the answers and did not hesitate to tell us everything we needed to know. I give her a 10 out of a10 thanks for being so nice.

Rooms are clean and comfortable.
The condos are a great value for a getaway. I really like the convenience of the parking and the property is central to attractions and dining.
Pools, dining and activities are available on site.

I’ve visited multiple times and it has always been a pleasant experience,
Don’t let the side view of the ocean discourage you, it’s still a good view of the beach and sunrise.

The staff are both helpful and friendly.

The property is a little bit dated but seems to be well maintained.

David and Stephanie is the most horrible workers a place could ever had. Thru have attitudes from out this world. Not only that they were judging and assuming things in our family and I. And I believe it was because we were black and had a few white ppl with us. They pretty much hurt my feelings for my occupation. And they were very much racist... At least they made me feel like they were. All we did was trying to tell them about our situation and to why we were visiting Myrtle beach under very serious reasons and they did not care. We had money and wanted to spend the money with them.. not to me too. They had bed bugs, also, they have rental managements that are insane and stalkers. Please stay away for your own sakes

The Grande Shores hotel is the best bargain in Myrtle Beach. Inside parking, inside pool and beautiful view. Room was above expectations and hep was close by. Would recommend Grande Shores to anyone looking for stay in the beach area.

The staff / customer service was great. The rooms were very clean. The house keeping staff was amazing, on point and friendly!! I was very impressed. We had an amazing and relaxing time. Thank you all so much! Looking forward to the next time. Will definitely recommend you to others. Happy New Year!

Ashley was so kind and friendly checking us in on the 5th. She made the start of our trip great! She was kind, informative, and quick with getting us checked in. The rooms were nice and clean, the area was perfect, and I recommend this place all around!

Third time trying out Grande Shores and there’s no reason to ever pay more. Can’t beat this location, being the first hotel on the ocean. Serene sunrise vibes straight from your oceanfront room. The most peaceful oceanfront views. Multiple areas for water fun. Close to all that you need.

Our stay at the Grande Shores Resort was wonderful! The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the view was spectacular! The walk to te beach was so close and convenient. We will definitely be coming back.

Love going to Grande Shores! The location is great. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. All staff are friendly and courteous.

Can’t beat the location! Room well equipped. Staff very friendly. This was my 4th time staying at Grande Shores. Already made reservations for next year.

Well run, clean, quiet resort that puts the guest first. Inclement weather was a drag but the resort made it worthwhile. Will stay again soon.

View was nice. Right on the beach. Easy access to everything. Felt very safe. Would recommend to friends & others😎

My wife and I arrived on Oct 3, 2025 at around 4:30pm. Check in employees were inept, rude and not welcoming to our arrival.
The person behind the counter insisted that we owed additional tax ($38) on our stay for 2 days before we were allowed to check in. My receipt from the booking agency showed we had already paid taxes and fees ($78).
Location is in a rundown area with a combination of nice homes and dilapidated apartments. Did not feel safe walking at night. Housekeeping was not existent as we only received new towels everyday. No additional cleaning was performed.
This hotel is over 50 years old and is in dire need of major upgrades, rooms are dirty and show there age with old fixtures and appliances.
It is however close to a lot of Myrtle Beach
attractions.
I have stayed in many hotels in Myrtle Beach in the last 50 years but never again will we stay at Grand Shores. Truly Disgusting and a waste of time and effort.

We checked in late at night and checked out to play golf, so we didn’t take advantage of the pool or beach. The hotel and the room rate were good for an overnight stay.

I have vacationers at this condo a few times. The condo is clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly. If you need anything like extra towels, coffee or a fan (which i normally sleep with), they bring it up to the room. The lazy river and hot tubs are so relaxing. The ocean is right there!!!. So close. Just walk out of the building and there it is. It is not located in the middle of everything, it is more a residential area, which I prefer. You don't have a ton of people on the beach or in the area . We found a few antique stores and resale shops with a short distance. Of course you have plenty of souvenir shops. There is an outlet mall not to far away. The location is perfect. If you have a chance to visit myrtle beach, I would recommend this place. Always a relaxing stay.

Two hot tubs, no water one with warm water, no circulation Another one no circulation, big hot tub, not hot no circulation advertise that they had five hot tubs

Clean room. No microwave..weird. no plug where coffee pot was had to make it bathroom...very weird. Not desirable.
Overall good. Just those couple things. Would probably stay again for a short trip
