Spleśniały pokój, wilgoć, brak okna, brak 1 łóżka

Miły personel na śniadaniu i dobra kawa

Cons:

mieliśmy rezerwację na dwie noce w hotelu Villa Romeo na pokój 4-osobowy. Przybyliśmy do hotelu o 1 w nocy z dwójką dzieci, zapłaciliśmy za pokój. Bez żadnego uprzedzenia zostaliśmy zaprowadzeni do pokoju, który był niezgodny z opłaconym pobytem. Dostaliśmy pokój 3-osobowy niezgodny z ofertą. Było jedno łóżko mniej i jedno dziecko nie miało gdzie spać. Pokój znajdował się w jakimś zakamarku na zapleczu hotelu. W pokoju nie było okna, panowała ogromna wilgoć. Ściany były pokryte pleśnią i grzybem. Lodówka była zapleśniała, zapleśniałe ściany w łazience. Klimatyzacja zepsuta i zapleśniała. Łóżko było wilgotne i nie dało się na nim spać. W łazience nie było deski na muszli klozetowej. Z muszli klozetowej ciekła woda na całą łazienkę. W kontaktach nie było prądu i nie było możliwości naładować telefony. Prawidłowy pokój dostaliśmy dnia następnego o godzinie 11. Pierwsza noc w koszmarnych warunkach.

a great base from which to explore the East coast of Sicily
Pros:

location was good , decor in room very tired and wallpaper peeling at the edges . it all looked shabby . However location is great for exploring the island , close to interbus depot and station , staff very helpful with travel arrangements and ideas on what to see .

An unexpected gem
Pros:

Being an old hotel the rooms were spacious with good facilities and even an unexpected bonus for our room,french doors out onto a large terrace.. This could be used by all guests as well as for breakfast.
Breakfast was of the usual standard. Great decoration even though the exterior was offputting

Cons:

The hotel was a little tired and with minimal staffing. Some things did not work as they should but they were small details.

A simple stay in a central location.
Pros:

The hotel is within walking distance of the central train station, where I arrived via the Alibus from the airport.
The room was very simple but huge and clean.
Breakfast in the courtyard was good.

Cons:

It was a bit hard to find late at night because it’s in an alley/side street, and not brightly lit, but to be fair, unfortunately my flight was delayed and I arrived VERY late.
The area has a few ‘interesting’ people hanging around as it’s fairly industrial and so close to the train station, but also lots of tourists so I felt relatively safe on my own.

Very well situated. Hotel had 24 hour check in which was great for us. Hotel had a lot of atmosphere. Very big rooms

Location was good. Close to the central railway station and within easy walk of cafes and restuarants for dinner. Good breakfast and a lovely courtyard.

Cons:

The fridge in our room was not working and management were reluctant to have it fixed. Shower screen was off its track and cracked. Also, the shower stall was quite mouldy and not very clean. The hairdryer was broken and unusable. The mattress on the main bed was very uncomfortable. Also the additional bed provided that was necessay to accomodate the 3 adult guests was small and very uncomfortable.
