Quite dated hotel that is need of an update. However everything else makes for a lovely stay in Catania. Close to the station, big room, fabulous staff and a delightful breakfast courtyard. The breakfast was also excellent.
Needed to be a little further away from the main road as it’s noisy. A room facing the courtyard would be better. Book directly with hotel if you can, for a better rate.

Ophangsysteem van de douche was kapot dus onhandig met douchen als je de creatieve manier niet kon vinden om hem vast te zetten. Zou niet zo moeten zijn.
Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived well before check in time and were able to store our luggage. Clean large room with balcony and the shower had plenty of hot water plus a kettle was kindly delivered to my room on request. Breakfast was relatively basic with alfresco tables available on the terrace. Short walk from the train station with buses and metro close by.
Mattress was terrible which is the only negative part of my stay as everything else about this hotel was fantastic.

Reasonably comfortable hotel close to the main train station and within a very easy walk of the main town. Nice courtyard area
Delayed check-in - room wasn't ready. Advertised as having a bar but was told it only opened from 7pm-10pm. Tried to access a bar at around 7:10pm but there was no evidence of anyone running a bar. The room was quite dark even with the lights on
