Hotel Daphne - Special Class

Very nice place to stay

Me and my sister stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, very beautiful hotel, close to main tourist attraction, not too far from tramway , all the guys that work there very nice and helpful, they do speak English, they are trying to help you with all your needs, I absolutely love their terrace, very beautiful view, that’s where they serve breakfast, love that breakfast included in your stay, it was very good, the only thing, I wish there’s more juice selection, not just orange, didn’t like the taste of that orange juice, other then that, it’s all perfect, salads good, one day they had this very delicious some pink dessert like pudding , wish it was there every day, yes I would stay there again and absolutely recommend this beautiful place.

The property is in a prime location with good terrace view!

We were allocated a room with a bathroom that has water leakage from the ceiling, making the bathroom very wet. This has caused power cut in the whole room and we were told to just turn on the bathroom mirror lights. We asked to change rooms but were told there weren’t any availaility. Walls are also very thin and we could hear people from next door talking. Overall not a good stay but for £40 I can’t complain much.

It was our family trip along with our 22 months old baby. As seen in their pictures for Roof top breakfast experience we booked this stay but when we reached hotel they told us is closed and they don’t know when it will open again. Room we got with ocean view was very very small. They did not provide house keeping throughout our stay of 3nights 4days. Cheap quality small refrigerator was kept in room caused all the baby food spoiled. All of the Staff members are rude. We booked airport transfer thru them from IST airport to hotel & return; even though we communicated our baggage count to their receptionist, he provided small car/van both ways & were charged extra money by driver at the airport at the time of return drop off. There were so many disappointing moments we faced thru out the our stay which caused us to regret staying here. So think twice before booking at hotel Daphne. Thanks.

windows have no screens so mosquitos may sleep with you but each room has effective HVAC.
will return and stay there again!

Location is good beside that you need to be careful as they try to make tourists pay more .

I was there for vacations with my partner . We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 10 days . I am definitely recommending this hotel for , quality price, next to the famous hippodrome. I have to say a special thank you to Mr. Orkan , who was a very humble and nice gentleman.

This place is very bad because they scammed me for one more day payment they are literally lied.

Great location , nice breakfast

This was my first time staying in Istanbul, the hotel staff was very helpful in arranging for transport to and from airport at ok price, and in giving suggestions for activities. Walking distance to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, as well and Grand Bazar. Only criticism is that the room had smell of smoking in it, so i had to keep the airconditioner fan working the whole time to get rid of the smell.

Helpfull staff in every respect. Meals on roof top terrace. Wonderful view of the bay area

Beside the great location of the hotel, the staff was amazing. Always ready to suggest a restaurant or an activity, or just give you tips about the culture and where to find the best prices around.

The stuff was nice specially Mr Hakan , he was very helpful and friendly

Everything was perfect staffs were friendly and helpful the location is great the breakfast is good.

Rude, dirty and stinks of smoke.

Did not help with luggage and made us feel intimidated. The practically kicked us out from their lobby after arriving early hours of the morning while waiting for check in.

Toilets are disgusting and dirty.

Luggage was left in the corridor where any one could have walked off the street and taken it.

Unsafe and not family friendly.

Would never ever recommend.

We have to pay an extra £800 to stay at another hotel.

The workers here are liars - lying to Expedia saying we had check in and that we were given a deluxe room - lies! We booked standard and we didn’t even get to the room after your rudeness!

Scammers! They’re trying to scam with us on 1st October when I reached at hotel daphne they sent us to another hotel for night stay and when we checked out on 4th October they demand more money and behave rudely. Manager behaviours isn’t good.
Be aware they scam with tourists

The staff was polite and respectable. They did their best to help us.The hotel is clean. Our reservation was a standard room, but they put us in the first day in an economy room, but in the second day they transfered us to a standard room.
Something which was very disappointed, there was a door between us and the next room, we could hear everything from the voice of the next guests !! it was so disturbable!!

They used picture on the site form 2004 . The hotel does not look like the picture it is catfishing . Staff are rude especially the cleaning lady she was rolling her eyes every time I asked for something. She got mad a few time she was yelling at her language at us . Not a customer service environment. Ppl are plain rude their. Room had mold on selling.
