overall excellent, the location and the staff made up for old interiors
Pros:

The staff was very welcoming, which made up for a slightly old interiors. I would especially want to thank a reception staff Solih for his exceptional attitude towards his work and the guests. he was very very helpful and was ready to help whenver we needed him. He truly made our stay pleasant at this hotel. The breakfasts were nice and tasty with variety of savoury and weet options. The location is very good, and the view from the breakfast salon is very beautiful.

Cons:

the bathrooms need to be renovated.

5/10. Staff was the major concern, not location. Room was okay at best.
Pros:

Passable property given value of <$70. Location was fantastic. I stayed for 10 hours only but will give a barely passable 5/10

Cons:

They were clearly understaffed - one person at check in time when there were 8 groups around. The issue could’ve been a no-issue if the staff had been polite; however staff was extremely indifferent. There was closure of Taksim (completely due to external reasons), and when asked for Taxi, instead of sharing what could be done and what are possible options, staff said “don’t know”. When engaged further, answer remained “we don’t know, go see”.

Замечательный город, прекрасный отель, удобное расположение!
Pros:

Отель расположен рядом с площадью ТАКСИМ, чистый уютный отель, красивый интерьер. Хороший завтрак, очень вежливый персонал, нас заселили раньше на 2 часа. У нас был номер на 3 человека с отдельными кроватями. Большую благодарность хочу выразить администратору милая девушка Туче ( имя могу напутать). СПАСИБО !

I had a wonderful stay at the Marble Hotel in Taksim as a solo traveller.

The hotel itself was comfortable and well located, but what truly made my experience memorable was a staff member named Tuğçe.

Tuğçe went out of her way to make me feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for throughout my stay. She would take the time to speak with me during breakfast, check that I was doing well, and always greeted me with genuine warmth and kindness.

Her people skills, empathy, and professionalism are exceptional. She has a natural ability to make guests feel seen and valued, and her kindness made a real difference to my experience in Istanbul.

Thank you, Tuğçe, for your hospitality and for making a solo traveller feel at home. You are a true asset to the Marble Hotel, and I hope your dedication and care are recognised.

I would happily stay here again and highly recommend the Marble Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Everything was great!
Pros:
