Delta Hotel

Overall good, but different from Photos you can find in the web. bathroom was quite big. There is a restaurant inside. Parking (free) is just in front of the hotel. Service was quite good. It is anyway a good spot from where you can visit the area.

About 20 minutes off arteriel motorway, it was perfect. Transported into the peace of the historic rice growing region. Greeted and welcomed by friendly staff at reception, who explained all we needed to know. The room just yards from a rice field which was rich with bird life, it was perfect. Clean and quaint, the room had a mini fridge and a number of extras useful to travellers. The bed was very comfortable! Mosquito netting at the windows enabled us to keep the windows open at night, but Air con was available
Food at the restaurant was excellent and breakfast the selection was great, including a hot if wanted. Would not hesitate to stay again and for a bit longer. Would reccomend to anyone!

Very comfortable, good spacious clean rooms, very comfortable. Hotel grounds very interesting, good bar, food was good too, packed lunches too much to eat but very good.

Good welcome on arrival, Hotel restaurant wasn't open very long but although I thought it would be empty it was full of locals when I got there - it was packed! That was a very indication on the quality of the food and I wasn't disappointed. Very high standard indeed. I had the Menu del Dia, so it was reasonably priced too. Room was huge, I booked the basic room but actually got one with a mezzanine floor in it. Really comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Would definitely stop here again. I didn't explore the area as I was on business.

This hotel is peaceful in the middle of rice fields and a lot of birds. Very interesting when exploring the beautiful Ebro delta. But also if you have a car, for visiting Peñiscola, Morella or other nearby interesting places. The hotel is clean, the rooms are big enough. Dinner is very tasty, breakfast was a buffet though the bread was sometimes not fresh. Personnel was very friendly, though sometimes there was a lack of organisation.

Loved how quiet it was. Staff helpful and friendly. Super breakfast with lots of choice.

Buena experiencia

Last yer we visited the mouth of the Ebro from our hotel in Tortosa; not knowing the charm and beauty of the area. We decided to return this year and stay in the delta...and Delta Hotel. Perfect location, comfortable rooms and free of a corporate attitude. Staff are very helpful and considerate. The most wonderful attribute of the hotel is its exceptional dining. The meals that came out of the kitchen, either menu de dia or a la carte were superb. Fresh seafood and meats, great paella, home made desserts and the selection of local wines was excellent. The head waiters and the staff were so hospitable and professional.

country side of spain . just happened to spend one night here with kids . staff is real friendly with available parking and free breakfast . rooms are spacious and décor is very unique .

Our 2 night stay in this hotel was a gift, so we hadn’t researched it before as we usually do. The room was spotless & well decorated with lots of space.
Staff were friendly and informative. Meals are excellent.
Location is outstanding if you’re interested in birds. Millions of them, & some we had never seen before.
We will return.

The Ebro Delta has a magic touch on its own, slowing down a frantic day-to-day busy life. You reconnect with nature, one piecexat a time, one bird sound at a time. Delta hotel eases you in in a romantic setting surrounded by rice fields (harvest in September). Staff has a personal and genuine touch, not as stiff as chain hotels. Hotel facilities have all you need to enjoy your stay and breakfast with typical local products such as bread with crushed tomatoes salt and olive oil, sliced cured meats, and a good coffee.

Nice hotel located in the heart of the Ebro Delta - this was a birdwatching trip so position was ideal - hotel gardens contained some interesting birds as well - night heron, little bittern, pied & spotted flycatchers and scops owl. Room was com fortable, breakfast good and it was generally quiet.

This is real Spain !
Remote country location with nothing around but fields...
Easy to find. Free ample parking.
Grounds were clean and looked after.

Family room with mezzanine beds. Tv, fridge,aircon,large shower, bottled water, extra blankets - Clean and cosy.

Strong free wifi everywhere in the hotel and most of the grounds. Playground for kids and areas to sit or kick football.

Helpful staff and patient with my lack of Spanish. Miming and sign language got a smile most of the time.
I think there was a wedding on the night we arrived. . Oh no I thought. Thumping disco until 3 in the morning. . I was very wrong.. party hall is easily 300 foot from bedrooms in a completely separate building. We didn't hear a thing. ..

What really won big points was a gentleman called Christian who had very good English.
The kids needed quick food and the restaurant menu would not suit them.
This gentleman recommended a local pizza café and even rang an order in ahead for me to collect! And checked the location for me on Google maps.
I really felt looked after. Had to give this man a tip before we departed.

This is a relaxed place that takes pride in being relaxed.
Highly recommended for a person who wants to stay somewhere calming...

We stayed at Hotel Delta to explore the region and wanted a central location. We rented bikes from the hotel.

We stayed at the Delta Hotel when we were birding in the Ebro Delta. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and pleasant. We wanted a room with two beds and the room they assigned us was a king. She changed the room without any problems. We liked the room a lot. The bathroom was good and the room was immaculate. The only slight problem was that the beds were a bit hard, but that seems to be everywhere in Spain. Dinner was fabulous. We had the carpaccio for the first course, a shaved lamb on rice for the second and a fabulous flan for dessert. The restaurant was nice and the service very good.

A good base for exploring the Ebro delta and the Ports mountains. A single storey building with a nice big restaurant, and quiet rooms overlooking the rice fields. Staff were pleasant, but our bathroom was not cleaned at any time during our (three day) stay
