Lovely hotel - amazing staff!
Pros:

I initially booked to have somewhere nearby to stay after a friend’s birthday party. Unfortunately, I hit a pothole on the way there and ended up with car trouble, which meant dealing with breakdown services until the early hours of the morning.

The hotel team were incredibly accommodating and helpful during the situation. It’s a really lovely hotel - the bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, everything was very clean, and the staff were fantastic.

Pros:

Room was comfortable, if a little cold (it's an old building). Dinner was really good.

Shower in the bath really was unusable for me(and I'm not that tall).

A lovely, comfortable hotel with great decor, location and staff.
Pros:

We had our dogs with us, so stayed in the lodge (300m from main hotel), which was excellent.
We were part of a wedding group and the whole day on site was beautifully managed, thank you.
The decor throughout was lovely, with nice outdoor space too.

Cons:

breakfasts were good, but a bit lack lustre.
