Booked this hotel through booking .com. Booked 2 rooms, requested 1 double bed and 2 single beds.
I was given 2 rooms both with double beds and one room had a cot/single bed put in it at an additional charge. I did not request this nor did I pay for this. The receptionist who said he was the supervisor Ghouri, was arrogant in his manner and assumed that as my granddaughter was 17 yrs, she would not share a bed with me therefore at an extra cost, without asking me, he put an additional bed in my room.
I was able to sort this out with Ian Hill the Manager who was very helpful and apologetic.
As a result of the fact that Ghouri failed to apologise, I have cancelled my forthcoming visit in September, when I was due to stay at the hotel for 2 nights as my friend is getting married there.

An ideal location for us for the evening.
It was so hot and no A/C but had the benefit of a very large window.
Very nice House and Garden
Unfortunately not so easy to find, even people living close to (walking their dog) could not tell.
Neither the guy at nearby Coop supermarket, so we had to phone to be guided to the place.
Room 22 was good-sized. Everything was clean. Breakfast was not eaten.
It was very hot, and it took an extra ventilator to cool the room down in the evening. It would have been useful if the room had been aired early in the morning and then the curtains closed.
Location
Breakfast timings they finish at 9.30am
The hotel downstairs is beautiful. The gardens are lovely too. We attended a wedding and we could not fault the hotel or on this account.
When I booked the room for my sister and husband, I was offered an upgrade. The room they were given was not an upgraded room. It was much smaller than those of others in our party, with a small bathroom. It was not as high standard as I was expecting from your photographs. What was most disappointing though was the breakfast. When we came to breakfast at 9am, there was no juice, no fruit salad, limited frozen berries, na pastries. I pointed this out to a waitress and she said they would refill the buffet when they get a chance. After a while, they did refill the juices and the pastries, not the fruit salad or berries. We were never offered any toast at breakfast and when we asked for it, it eventually came when we finished all our food. My sister and some other members of our party never got offered toast either. I find that really baffling. At the price you pay to stay at the hotel, you would expect a lovely choice of breakfast, and certainly toast would part of it. I also did not feel that the staff were keen to help; I did not feel at ease when asking; it felt Iike I was causing inconvenience.
Location
No air conditioning, the first room we were given looked over the garden but was very hot, ok unusual weather but we asked to change. The second room overlooked the kitchen waste bin area. It was equally hot. We both had a terrible nights sleep even with the fan provided.
Beautifully decorated and lively grounds
Nothing at all
beautiful grounds and hotel
Location
No fans and no air conditioning during a heatwave. Breakfast was bog standard and basic.
Lovely well kept property
Small bedroom and Bed
Food in the restaurant was superb. Lovely decor and location.
Reception staff could have been a bit more responsive! No aircon in the room and the fan wasn’t the best, so very warm and stuffy in the attic room. In the bathroom you couldn’t stand up and have a shower due to the sloping ceiling. Considering I am 5,2” I struggled !
