We’ve stayed here several times and each time it’s been great! Staff are friendly and helpful and if you have an issue sort it immediately. Buffett breakfast is fresh and plentiful and also the evening Buffett is excellent too.

Fantastic service, grateful for staffs accommodation with visitor who is partially sighted when seating in the restaurant.
Lots of corporate event people taking over the bar/lounge area, sometimes nowhere to sit quietly. Complimentary coffee/tea area had some snacks around - I was told very abruptly to put 2 chocolate biscuits back as they were not for me! Little name boards apparently dictate company only - even when delegates had gone back from their brake.....
Why use public areas?
All the staff from arrival to departure were exceptional, particularly, Teodora and Helyna, at front desk, Oli, Robert, Victoria and Angeneiska regarding food and drink as well as Selina, the ultimate customer service professional, knowledgeable, helpful, caring and thoughtful in every respect and interaction. I apologise for any inaccurate spelling of names. As I said to various members of staff on occasion, it is difficult for a man to look at name badges when located on a ladies chest, when just out of sight.
On this occasion the standard of the food was disappointing given my previous experiences at Horsley. I found some inedible on occasion.

The aesthetic of the building.
Stayed here the night of our wedding. The room we stayed in was cold, dated and small. The bathroom was damp and had mould in the shower and when I raised the issue with reception they simply said sorry but i should of told them earlier? Soo it's our place to check the cleanliness of the room? Appalling service wouldn't stay here again if you want a mediocre hotel save your money and go somewhere cheaper!
Pool and breakfast were good
Not a great hotel. Very dated rooms and cleanliness poor. Bar staff were rude and closed the bar earlier than advertised and well before reasonable hours. Won't be coming back.

No cable port near bed and more milk In the tea tray
Don’t be taken in by the upmarket name! This hotel is very basic, facilities are poor, staff are generally poor but Gracie was good, bar person is abrupt and unfriendly and closed earlier than they said. Very disappointing all round. Our company and friends will not be back
