The grounds are just stunning. The staff are all so lovely and helpful. Plenty if space to relax in the jhotel
The room itself was small and fittings etc were old, but all functioned well. Room itself could have been cleaner but ensure was very clean
Warm and cheerful reception. She made an effort to ensure that my family group were put together in same corridor. Booked dinner and helped with directions. Dinner was good and thankfully in the small brasserie (there was a noisy conference group in the canteen area.). Room was well appointed although bed was a bit soft! Good shower and bathroom.
Strange that the breakfast was a one size fits all buffet at a cost of £20.00. For those of us who prefer a simple continental breakfast of coffee and croissant, it was crazy to pay that price. Made do with free coffee and a couple of biscuits instead!
Great Breakfast, lots of choice and a few things I had never seen in many hotels, such as an automatic pancake machine. Great little pool and amazing location for my stay, and was one of the quietest hotels I have experienced. will be staying again when in that part of the country.
only a small pool no other facilities such as jacuzzi or sauna.
A good hotel with professional staff thanks to reception/cleaning staff and celine and breakfast staff are excellent 👌 and lady chef for vegetarian sausages every morning:)
Excellent breakfast and a very quiet night's sleep.
Comfortable bed
Duke of Wellington pub has great food and is five minutes walk away.
TV is in an odd position on ghe side wall.
Didn't realise you should book the swimming pool.
Ontbijt was top
Personeel vriendelijk

Location is good, Breakfast provided a good choice of options and was of good quality
The room was small and dark. Basic facilities and noisy both through the night and early morning making it less than ideal sleeping experience. Breakfast service finished at 9am which is the earliest I have ever experienced.
Location is beautiful, grounds of the estate is easily explored.
Bedroom was very basic but had the essentials.
The estate is beautiful and grande with excellent views and opportunity to explore. Really close to shops and bars/restaurants. Hotel Bar was nice and the staff were always really friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast offered really good variety and value.
Room 123 was tiny and doesn’t resemble the other rooms in this range. As an example it is very difficult to access the right side of the double bed due to the angle of the roof.
Lovely reception and bar staff. Great pool. Excellent breakfast options. Lovely grounds.
Room needed a deep clean. Carpet moth infestation. Clean enough to stay in but visible dust and dirt in room corners, lamp and TV. Also housekeeping knocked despite knowing later check out time booked..
Nice to haves would be robe and bottled water in rooms.
The property is beautiful very clean and the staff very friendly and professional. We love our stay with my family.
Everything was lovely.
The old stile. Look like a castle.
The diner price
I would not wish to ever return.
Good breakfast, apart from Mondays breakfast where we was told there was no food on to help ourselves we was served by a waitress, bacon tasted and looked like it had been recooked was hard an not nice. swimming pool was good the cleaner could do with smiling looked grumpy all the time. Bar area was nice.
Our room was small, bathroom very small not a lot of shelving, no hooks to hang yr clothes on or towels. The shower was very small could hardly move around and the shower door kept opening wouldn't close properly.
