Das wunderschöne Anwesen. Die Lage ist bestens um die Umgebung zu erkunden- auch ein Ausflug nach London ist möglich ( Bahnhof in der Nähe) .
Besonders freundliches Personal an der Rezeption . Katie und Monica waren uns eine große Hilfe - Danke!
Ein bisschen schade finden wir, dass die Fenster nicht ganz geöffnet werden können. Das haben wir leider aber auch schon in anderen Hotels erlebt.
The swimming pool was lovely and one of the reasons I booked to stay here.
The extremely tiny shower cubicle! Absolutely no room in those showers to wash anything!
And very important to do so after swimming!
Cheap rooms still need decent size showers!
Very lovely hotel with excellent facilities. All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We used the pool, which was very clean, and the changing rooms were also spotless, with lockers available for convenience. Pool towels provided.
Parking was easy, very close tp reception. Room was very comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay.
I have a food allergy, and the restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate me by providing an alternative dessert to the one included in my three-course meal which was absolutely value for money and so tasty, I really appreciated the change of dessert. The restaurant team were so friendly and attentive, and we had some lovely chats with them. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely return.
The location was good.
The food was too expensive.
The room was filthy including smears all over the mirror which were not cleaning products. Used dental floss on the bathroom floor and severe black mould in the shower. I arrived later than expected so slept in this room on the first night, did not use the shower. In the morning I complained and had a very nice chat with the duty manager, sho moved me to a better room for my second night and promised to refund the first night. Despite asking several times, I never received this refund and would definitely not stay here again. Avoid.

All accommodation is in a Modern

We booked restaurants was shown and seated in buffet room which was very busy with kids not the night I was expecting . I’ll never book a de vere again . Receptionist never looked up to say hello . Phone charger broke , carpet shabby .
Basic good stay just at 1 hour drive from London city center, quiet village, free car parking, good restaurant serving a generous dinner buffet, friendly staff, quick access to motorways
The rooms are a bit small, Sound proofing from people walking in the corridor could be better, 4G internet not available in room, WiFi quality was a bit patchy
Setting is beautiful and very relaxing.
We opted for the basic double room as it was just meant to be a place to sleep and use the pool and gym.
The basic room was small, ha a small window that didn’t open much, walls are paper thin- I could hear the room next door snoring. Bathroom is dated and just feels unclean.
Just wasn’t the standard I’d expect for a De Vere
Location and facilities and friendly staff.
Bath had a dirty layer at the water level previous baths had been had, appart from that the room was clean.
There was no extras in the room like complimentary water, fridge maybe a more expensive room has all that.
