Way beyond the call of duty, and a great location!
Pros:

The location is excellent, providing easy walks to many sights and restaurants along the Santa Barbara coast. The full breakfast is a plus, and its entree is changed daily. But the best part of our stay was meeting Peter, the afternoon receptionist, who is studying Latin and Ancient Greek. He's smart, sociable, and fun to talk with. He was also very thoughtful, and lit our outside fire pit every night, even finding my lost sunglasses on the last day!

Excellent hotel in Santa Barbara, convenient location, courteous staff
Pros:

Convenient location a couple of blocks from the beach, quiet, comfy, extremely helpful and courteous staff. Loved the parking lot. Delicious breakfast and pretty decor. Would highly recommend.

Very nice accomodations in Santa Barbara in a great location.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast and very nice setting. They also have free bicycles to ride around town, which is a very nice amentity. Location is also fantastic, about 1 block from the waterfront.

Pros:

Good location, one can walk to all places: beach restaurants, railway station.

Cons:

We arrived an hour early, the room was ready but they still charged 25 dollars extra to check in
They said it was because we reserved via "3rd party", namely via booking.com.

Charming Inn
Pros:

The Eagle Inn is absolutely charming. The staff is warm and welcoming.
The hotel offers lots of attention to details of what guests would enjoy, such as freshly ground coffee in the lobby. Breakfast on the outside balcony was delicious. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect three days.
Pros:

Wonderful room, owners pay attention to small details which adds up to an excellent experience. Complementary breakfast offers cooked to order options. Hotel a period Spanish building exudes charm, and it is in extraordinary condition.

Bed was way to soft, sitting couch very uncomfortable and very little dresser storage. Not sure of TV provider but commercial ratio to program viewing was distracting.

Quaint spot
Pros:

Location. Walking distance to the pier and the main drag. There is a small onsite kitchen and our breakfast was included. Breakfast was good. It’s a small space with about 6 tables inside with a small attached open patio with some seating.

Cons:

We stayed in a “Deluxe” room. Very quaint. Adequately decorated. Very nice for a one or two night stay. The mattress was NOT comfortable. On site parking is limited.
