We had a wonderful stay at the Westin. There was some confusion on the room I had booked and Natasha bent over backwards to make things right. She went above and beyond to make our stay great.
Checking in was a long process. There was a long line and one gentleman was checking everyone in while the female check in assistant at the other desk was busy cleaning her desk with antiseptic wipes and staring at her computer. When someone asked if she was able to check people in, she said "Only if you have a 2 bed room". She did not volunteer this info untill someone asked. That's weird. At night we were going into the restaurant to see if it was still open. Someone laying back in a chair by the front desk with what looked like a hotel employee uniform on yelled across the lobby that the restaurant was closed, Unprofessional. When checking out the woman at the desk would not even look up from her computer as I handed her the keys to our room. The only person I had a decent customer service experience with was the valet. He was kind and courteous. Do better.
the pricing is good

Everything except that referenced in my comment below.
There were no accessible outlets or USB ports on the left side of the bed. The closest outlet was across the room.
Sadly, this does not meet Westin standards. It's clearly in need of a renovation. Besides the rooms being subpar, it also doesn't have the typical amenities like a small sundries/snack shop. Even the little things like a bottle of water for BOTH guests. Some of the blinds (one in the bathroom for privacy) didn't work. Some of the curtain rods were impossible for me to operate. No outlet on one side of the king bed. I think we had an accessible suite. The bathroom was gigantic, much larger than is even necessary for wheelchair accessibility, but not a zero clearance shower entry. With all that space only a single sink. The rooms was clean and quiet. But I don't think it was worth what we paid for it.
Finding the entrance and getting into the building and to the front desk was overly complicated. We missed the entrance and had to drive around the block. There was valet. We had to drag our bags through the restaurant to get to the desk. The desk couldn't tell us if the skyway was open (it was not). So, back to our room to get our coats.
The building is a beautiful, historic, art deco style building. I hope Marriott does a proper job to bring it up to the standards this gem derserves.
We weren't able to eat at the restaurant named Stock & Bond, but it is stunning. It has soaring ceilings with wood paneling and gorgeous deco touches. I would have loved to sit and take it all in.
The check in desk people were not terribly helpful and even a bit rude. But, the gentleman at the valet stand was very friendly and helpful. I wish I would have gotten is name to acknowledge him here. The desk people also didn't know the valet doesn't use tickets, but text instead.
We travel and stay at a lot of Marriott properties and this one doesn't meet the Westin level we expect.
Convenient, clean, friendly staff
Parking a little confusing at first, paid for a city view but got stuck with a view of the ventilation system
Nice room for the price. Stock & Bond brunch was very good.
Hard to figure out the parking.
clean
Nice
Great value and affordable price for a place downtown in such a good location.
Parking situation was sub-ideal but hey that’s life in the big city 👉🏼👉🏼
