Too expensive
The property is amazing. The location is perfect and walkable to so many restaurants, Target and so on. But it is always the TEAM that makes the best impact. HUGE and i mean HUGE shout out goes to JAY L (For being an amazing Leader) and TRACIA and DIANE - both from the Front Desk. Also KAIA C (an amazing Banquet Captain) JOHN B as well as MORGAN S. Both the lovely Banquet team members were always available with a readily available smile as such a positive approach. BRAVO to everyone. Thank you for such a successful wonderful stay.
Room, location, parking.
Navigating the skyway was a bit tricky.
Staff was great. Location was pretty good.
Shower was not clean and had hair all through it. The shower head barely had enough pressure for water to come out of it. Mattress was god awful. Sheets and towels had unidentifiable stains on them.
Ashlee at the front desk was absolutely delightful and so helpful.
no complaints.
The Westin Minneapolis is a beautiful, clean, and recently renovated hotel. The historic bank building gives it a unique and stunning atmosphere, and the location is excellent for exploring downtown Minneapolis.
The only downside is that the hotel can be difficult to navigate when arriving by car. Coming from Marquette Avenue, it was confusing to find the reception, as the main entrance is actually on 7th Street. Better signage would make the arrival experience much easier.
My biggest disappointment was the pricing. I booked my first night for $180, but when I wanted to extend my stay by one more night, the rate jumped to $770, which was hard to justify.
Overall, it’s a great hotel with beautiful renovations and a fantastic location, but the confusing entrance and extreme rate fluctuation kept it from being a five-star experience.
Location is convenient for downtown access. Room was clean with very comfortable bed and AC/climate control. Downstairs restaurant and bar is unique with good energy after dark. Overall a very comfortable stay.
I have a very bad back, with arthritis in my spine. Your bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in in my life.
Booking.Com double booked me. I was told at the reception area that I needed to take it up with the 3rd party. That was incorrect. The 3rd party told me to take it up with The Westin. The Westin seems to have blown it off.
They could have upgraded my room if they weren’t going to change the booking.
