Good location. Nice rooms nice staff and a great breakfast and the steak was good to.
Balcony rooms were very spacious and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
Was waiting to order a coffee and had to wait for bar to open at 11am and the waitress appeared at 11.10am to open up and then had to wait another 15 mins to get the coffee. All good in the end and staff very friendly but there was no other way to get a cup of coffee.
Parking charges were excessive at £12 a night. Parking was also limited, very difficult to find a space sometimes.
Comfortable and good breakfast, what you woul expect for the price.
The location was absolutely beautiful. The breakfasts were bountiful and the cooked elements were delicious. They even had alternative milks which was very convenient for someone with a bit of a milk problem such as myself. The room was in a quiet end away from the traffic noise. The staff were kind, cheerful and helpful throughout the hotel, from front desk to dining room to bar, right through our stay. A short walk to the pier although there’s a handy bus stop outside the property. You can catch the bus to either Bournemouth or, going the opposite direction, to places like Boscombe and Christchurch. It was so relaxing I felt a little reluctant to go home at the end of the stay.
There wasn’t a lot to complain about. Just a couple of minor irritations. The single beds were a bit narrow and not as comfortable as they looked. The shower was a bit fiddly to use and climbing in and out of a bath to have a shower was a bit of a pain for an old lady like me. But, as I said, minor irritations.
I like the food, the staff and the environment
The property location a good
The shower was broken, the toilet didn’t flush properly the pool water was murky and unclean and the bed was rock solid and there was graffiti on the children’s bunk bed.
Friendly staff
Good wifi
Parking
Everything clean
We loved the location and the staff were nice and friendly. We had a balcony room with sea view which was great. The staff were very good and quick to respond. The manager was excellent.
If I’m being picky, there were some cigarette butts under the wooden slats on the balcony. Only one cushion on the balcony chairs, our toilet roll wasn’t refilled for the second day we stayed so we ran out.
Our phone didn’t work for room service (I couldn’t hear them when they picked up) so the manager had to come up from reception to find out what we needed. There was no tag to hang in the door for room service breakfast. When we ordered breakfast, they didn’t bring us cutlery to eat it with (the breakfast was delicious though). I tried the phone again on the off chance it had started working and by the time the poor manager had run back up the stairs, we’d already eaten half of it with the teaspoons already in the room - otherwise it would have gone cold. He asked us to let them know when it would be convenient for an engineer to come and fix it though.
