They over charged my card it took over a month to return my money after I booked

The facility was cool , I didn’t have any towels or hot water

Staff on duty did not greet, Bathroom soaps were not filled at all, no extra sheets or covers for the extra pullout bed, pillows with no cases not worth the price

Our room had a smell of burnt toast or scalded pasta water or something. We dealt with that, but the pull out sofa (intending it to be the bed for one of our children) was disgusting. The mattress topper was covered in dirt and chunks of food. We asked for new linens and topper, but only received the linens (which we had to change ourselves) but when we pulled the topper off, the mattress was even worse. There were more food chunks, candy wrappers and brown stains all over the mattress. We went back to the front desk and showed them pictures, but they said they could not change the mattress and the only other available room only had 1 bed which would not work. We didn't end up using the pull out and made sure to use the fresh linens to cover the sofa cushions before sitting on it.

I didn’t like a side door of the hotel stayed unlocked at all times allowing anyone to enter the facility.

This place was NOTHING like the pictures and description. It was filthy. The elevators were dirty, the walls were dirty, the comforter cover and sheets were DIRTY (I took pictures). The main light in the powder room area was out, as was the bedside lamp. I was barely able to see in the morning when trying to do makeup and hair. How can they miss this during the housekeeping process...were they cleaning the powder room in dim light? The Front Desk and Housekeeping lines do not work on the bedside, landline phone. I guess those buttons are there for display only because they do not connect to either Department. There was no USB charger in the bedroom. I had to call the front desk NINE times from my mobile before reaching someone. She repeatedly tried to gaslight me and make me think it was unreasonable to expect a USB port in the bedroom in 2025! "I turn my phone on silent when I'm asleep," and "I never leave the house without a wall plug for my charger". I was so disappointed in this place. Not to mention, since booking, I have been inundated with NINE emails/text messages from Larkspur Landing....absurd!

Breakfast could have been better with hot food but waffle was very good

Hotel is dated. We had two rooms on this trip, both were slightly moldy smelling. We found mouse droppings in the bedding of the pullout couch. The countertops and floors in my room were sticky and there was food stuck to the upper cabinet. The toilet flooded in my room at 7:30 am on the second day of our stay and that’s when I discovered the phone in my room also didn’t work. I had to go to the desk to ask for assistance with towels as we had one towel in a room designed for four people. The lady was nice but was moving at a slow pace as though it didn’t constitute an emergency when I stated to her the bathroom was flooding into the bedroom part of the room and soaking the carpet. She told me they wouldn’t have maintenance for a while and no one came to check before we left so guests are not the priority. Breakfast was a complete joke. It’s all junk food that a kid would eat. Nothing here for adults. Pool was filthy and had actual trash in it. Lastly my room card was only working intermittently and it would take some times 20-30 times of swiping to get it to open my door- not safe! And I asked then twice to correct that and they told me the batteries likely needed changing in the door but no one ever came to do that. I had kids with me and this was not a safe way of getting in and out. Other rooms had cigarette burns in furniture and bedding. And stains on the sheets. Gross! Not a good experience at all.

The guests were unpleasant though. We see people smoking and drinking alcohol near the side door. The staff also charged me twice for the booking. I had to do a credit card dispute.

There was an odor in the hallway and there was a big burn hole in the ottoman in the living room area

Breakfast was lacking; no hot food. Toaster not working. one waffle maker so hard to get a turn. Coffee ok, but not really hot.
