Would not recommend for vacationers…
Pros:

Traveled around Ireland for 10 nights at various hotels, castles and B&B. Have stayed hundreds of nights around the world as a professional. I would not recommend this hotel for vacationers.

Bed was okay and views of the rivers were nice.

Check in is at 4. Upon arrival at 3 - was told check in was not until 4. Sat in lobby in front of the desk until 4pm and watched everyone else who arrived be checked in. Around 4:10 - went back to the desk and was then checked in - being asked to complete everything again that was already done when I checked in at 3. They never let us know room was ready.

Very stuffy humid hotel with no ventilation - old carpeting, closed off hallways and windowed balcony with nice view but NO fresh air. Was only 60 outside but inside it was hot and sticky, Had to leave ac running and open bathroom window to get air moving at all since there are no other windows that open.

Lounge not worth it- coffee, water/ soda and cookies. There is already coffee in the room so you are not getting anything additional. If you are thinking Marriott lounge - think again.

Often waited long time for elevators. Shower is teeny tiny and doors are finicky and difficult to keep closed. Couches and carpet seemed quite old and dirty. I would try a different hotel if in Limerick again.

Lovely place
Pros:

Unexpectedly very nice. Was obviously presumptuous theLimerick wouldn’t stack up up to what ever I was thinking. Definitely recommend the Limerick Strand & Limerick in general.

Great, will be back!
Pros:

Both staff and hotel were great, we stayed for my partners 30th and staff made an effort to deorate room and included a discount for breakfast! Will stay again if ever visiting Limerick again.

The hotel was in an excellent location for walking into town and exploring.
Pros:

The staff was helpful and friendly. I used the pool and found the facilities to be very nice.

Cons:

When we arrived the staff was too busy with a large party to get us into our room, so instead of using the pool and relaxing we had to change our plans and go out exploring.
