Spacious room/suite
Only had one night
Really great venue with great staff and very child friendly.
Staff were lovely and very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good choice and lovely food. The room was lovely and warm even though it was windy and freezing outside.
The only thing that was slightly wrong was the shower screen didn't stop all the water and some water went on the floor which yiu then had to watch you didn't slip on it.
Our room was spacious and the leisure centre was very good.
The menu in the restaurant is a bit boring.
The food is average, nothing bad about it but certainly nothing amazing about it for what it costs.
dinner was lovely, very very quiet dining that night, rooms very comfortable and spacious, games/arcade room good, sensory room very good
there could be more for older kids, a teen hang out area or football area maybe, there used to be a soft play area this is now a sensory room which needs to be booked which is great but soft play was also good for the youngers to play in
Facilities, location, family friendly
Family next room over fighting all night.
Pool itself good for kids
Bar food good too
Changing areas in swimming pool and bathrooms in bedrooms need upgrading. Grubby and tired. Some damaged items in our room
Lovely clean spacious bedrooms, great food (portions very big though), very friendly bar staff, convenient to the airport
The only thing i would say is that 4pm check-in is a bit late compared to other hotels
Really friendly receptionist welcomed us. Young lady with dark hair, very accommodating. We had arrived earlier than planned but she was so helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bar/restaurant and leisure staff all brilliant. Food was great. Pool lovely. Great location. Really enjoyed our stay.
One of the receptionists on front desk was not very friendly, young lady light hair. She interrupted the other staff member I was dealing with to tell me check-in time was 4... we already knew this. I felt she was a bit rude, especially after we just arrived. The first lady was very poised and so pleasant. I'm not sure the other one was suited to front desk, no smiling. Then just walked off. Thankfully the other girl was so nice. We had been travelling since 6 am and really appreciated her professionalism and goodwill, allowing us to get to our room asap.
Excellent staff, really friendly and helpful from check in to check out. The rooms were spotless, the pool and leisure facilities were top notch, and the whole hotel had a lovely feel to it.
Honestly nothing, everything was spot on from start to finish
Breakfast was just alright a bit pricey for children who are fussy eaters.
The food was cold in the restaurant had to send it back, wouldn’t normally complain but it’s expensive enough.
Loved the size of the bedroom, it was huge. Kids loved the pool and the mini disco (although it was a bit late for the wee ones 8-10pm). Everyone enjoyed breakfast.
Unfortunately, when we left the hotel and drove home, we realised we had left a jacket in the wardrobe. We phoned that evening, reception weren’t particularly sympathetic and directed us to an email address for lost property. 4 days later we still haven’t heard anything from the email. Family called into the hotel in person, to be told it had not been found (stolen?). We realise it would be better had we not left the jacket behind at all but very annoying and upsetting that it was stolen. Won’t return to the hotel on that basis.
