Has the potential to be a great family hotel.
Pros:

Everything for the children was closed due to renovations. The pool was open but nothing was working.

Cons:

Everything for the children was closed. Breakfast was a ripoff €20 per person when the children just wanted cereal.
We did not know about the renovations we should of been told via email when we booked.

Great Family / Autism Friendly Hotel Stay
Pros:

We went swimming, then food in the restaurant and then we booked the sensory room for after. Missed not having the arcade this time but still enjoyed our stay alot. Booking again for Feb.

Cons:

Missed the arcade
Looking to book again for childs birthday and the rates are very expensive now

A pleasant stay.
Pros:

The hotel was selected due to the location of which we were travelling (Ashbourne).
We enjoyed some swimming in the pool which had friendly staff.

Cons:

Our check in was sadly unwelcoming. We thought the rooms were very basic for a 4star.

Surprisingly poor service.
Pros:

Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Friends paid for a bottle of champagne and a note to be left for me as it was my 60th birthday. But in the room was a cheap bottle of prosecco and no note as if the hotel left it for me as a welcome gift. Only a friend told me what it was, I never would have known. The hotel did not tell the friend that they supplied prosceeco instead left no note and no refund. The friend complained and a refund on the difference in price was issued - but only because they were found out. No apology issued!

The rooms are decorated lovely and were spotless , beds are very comforable
Pros:

We did not have breakfast in the hotel

Cons:

The room my eldery mother stayed in was very cold
Room service was extremely disappointing as the 2 pizza we ordered were under cooked and €15 each

Bar staff ignored you took a long time to get a over priced drink at the bar
Pros:

Breakfast was not included in the room at €145 so we paid an extra €41 for a breakfast no coffee with breakfast just seem the breakfast was thrown together

Cons:

Better value, we went to see The Fureys and we had to stand at the back as there was no seats

Cons:

When we arrived the receptionist was not very friendly at all. When we went to our room in was freezing had to ask for a mobile heater which did not make a difference at all. When we went to the restaurant the staff was not friendly everything was rushed. I ordered a steak and could not eat it as it was very tough. Definitely won’t be back to this hotel

Cons:

Had to use paper cups & plastic cups when hotel was very busy. Queues at bar were very long at busy times. Hotel needs to be a bit more organised for organised events. More staff for events.
