Not much.
Breakfast buffet was great but staff could do better as every day something was forgotten with the order. Drinks also took long time.
You need to fight for every service. Had lunch one day onsite and three different waiters forgot my side dish and have to ask for salt and pepper always. Ordered kids desert just plain vanilla ice cream and it arrived with crumble.
Classic building ,friendly staff
Booked a city view room
No city view only a view over the second floor internal roof , not ideal
Le personnel très accueillant et agréable
Le spa magnifique
La restauration
Rien
Ordering 4 gin and tonics could not have gone any worse. When you're brand stands for service and quality you have to be good on every occasion and this episode was a disaster. We were sat down by the hostess and after a brief wait provided with drinks menus - with no gins! After waiting a lot longer someone came to take our order but we needed gin menus. Another long pause and they arrived. Another long pause and someone took our order. Not too difficult 4 gin and tonics. Another very long pause and no drinks. I called someone over who instead of apologising argued with me! We were over 45 minutes into our stop and nothing! No water no drinks
Because I complained we got some complimentary water and olives but no apology. One hour in. Our drinks arrived - you'd think that was good news. Nope 3 of the 4 drinks were wrong. A catalogue of errors and not really much of a recovery, the waiter mumbled something about a free cocktail as he presented the bill where they had removed the price of the tonics...........
I do not normally do negative reviews but this team needs a wake up call, it was a very poor experience.
Beautiful traditional property, right in the heart of Bordeaux centre! Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and great facilities. I’ll definitely be back.
Nothing.
Tout était magnifique, le personnel est à la hauteur de l’hôtel
Et sont très très au service de la clientèle
Merci

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in June 2026. It was palatial, and exceptionally beautiful. The rooms were large and superbly clean. Ideally located on the main square and shopping mall, which made it great for shopping for anything - clothes, shoes, supermarkets and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was very good but I recommend walking away from the main square and down the mall where the locals go. There are many smaller squares off the main mall where some very lovely restaurants can be found. The very new and clean trams run straight past this hotel for easy access to all parts of Bordeaux. The staff at this hotel were attentive and extremely friendly and helpful.
Reception e servizio in camera
La brasserie 2 vini in lista assenti dalla cantina. Dovuto cambiare nostra scelta.
Early check in , roof top bar, pool
Mini bar and sweets not complimentary, like other such hotels.
Over rated and over priced. Rooms badly laid out and dark. Bathroom impractical. You gad to stand in bath to turn on the taps. Charged 40 euro for 8 teabags for the room! No notification of closure of rooftop bar. Staff indifferent .
Place: This hotel radiates with the classic & chic style of yesteryears, with its warm & refined interior design and atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, staff greet you with welcoming smiles and make the check-in process seamless. There’s a small but adequate lobby for patrons immediately outside the reception area and multiple restaurants on premise. The breakfast restaurant offers an extensive list of food options that should satisfy even the most delicate of palates: think made-to-order omelettes, baked goods (including an assortment of breads), fruits, vegetables, juices, coffee, etc. The gym was a plus, but requires a bit of attention to address some deficiencies (i.e., old equipment and lack of maintenance). There’s a rooftop lounge and bar with plenty of space and a nice view of the city.
Room: The room came with a queen bed, which was very comfortable. There was enough room for luggage and to organize our clothing and items, including a desk for office equipment (laptop). There is also a small area inside and outside the room (i.e., balcony) to stretch your legs. All in all, a well-appointed room with the essential necessities. The only complaint: the shower room, which is a combo shower and bathtub and can be a bit challenging (and slippery) to get in and out of because of the design and restricted space. By the way, the room was located on the 4th floor, which was very quiet.
Service: Almost flawless and very accommodating. The only minor hiccup came during dinner service, where a white wine was served knowingly warm, despite efforts to correct it. Overall, however, the staff was courteous and professional.
