The property was very nice and looked great. Really liked the pool and jacuzzi. The staff was very nice and helpful. I liked how the museo was incorporated with the property and we got to see that. The food was also good.
I felt the price was very high for the stay. Also the breakfast was a little confusing between buffet and ala carte ordering. The prices didnt make sense either. I opted for the breakfast buffet, which was good.
The overall hotel was impressive. Very beautiful grounds with much history. Very nice gift shop with some nice items.
Horrible signage. Turned up and no signs directing you to the reception which is over 100m from the entrance. Also staff were super uptight about allowing us to check in one minute before 3PM. Pretty poor when we arrived after an exhausting trip and simply wanted to shower. Reception could have invited us to the bar to relax but simply told us room wasn't available. No exactly a five-star level of service.
Everything ! Highly recommended
The architecture
Hermosas instalaciones y ubicación
Trato en la recepción y falta de información.
My stay at Hotel Museo Spa Casa Santo Domingo was absolutely unforgettable. The grounds were incredible, beautifully maintained, and filled with so much history, especially with the hotel built into the ruins in such a thoughtful and stunning way. Every amenity I could ask for was there, the breakfast was top notch, and everything was served fresh. The price is definitely justified considering everything you get, and I am already trying to plan another trip so I can stay here again. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antigua. Please share my thanks with your wonderful team.
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!!
