Pros:

Location great staff were very nice

Cons:

Very pricey for food portions were tiny. Couldn't knock off the heating through the night I had to open the window. One of the lifts didn't work and I had my father with me in a wheelchair and we nearly fitted in the other lift

The food in the bar wasn't great & took ages to be served also . When I fell on the premises nothing was done for me. I asked to change rooms, which was ok & they just gave us a late check out on Sunday. Disgraceful. Will never be back here. Was actually at the hotel to see if it would be good for my friends hen party in May but the experience we had was awful.We won't be returning at all.

The room was a good size and temperature and it was a great location

Cons:

Bar food was shockingly bad, got the fish and chips, menu said it was hake, I am not sure and it was so dry.
Sheets were knobby,
Bathroom, the shower screen couldn't be pulled back so you had to stand into the bath to turn on the bath or shower and there were 2 black hairs about 1 to 1.5 inches long in the bath.
I was going to tell the receptionist on check out but she didnt ask he how was my stay

Pros:

Close to everything. Clean. Old fashioned in a good way. Relaxed. Comfortable. The swimming pool, sauna etc was fabulous. Really well maintained and staff on hand.
