Beach front, was beautiful to walk over to the beach early with the dog and enjoy the waves and peace. There is always a French bistro opposite that is amazing 👏 with stunning views. Beds were comfortable and clean alongside clean towels and toiletries.

Cons:

Lower ground floor we heard lots of creaking from upstairs. Wasn't overly clean and the lift was not very desirable as it has buttons missing so you have to stick your finger into the inside of it.... bit dodgy. Also, not too sure you could get a wheelchair in there, and you have to go up stairs to get to reception, so wouldnt say wheelchair friendly.

Good location and helpful staff but a patched up old property.
Pros:

Breakfast was an adequate continental breakfast. Reception were very helpful and met all our needs including getting us blankets.

Cons:

The bathroom was tiny, no hooks or anywhere to put things except on the toilet lid. Could have been cleaned more thoroughly!

The hotel was really unhygienic. Dirty everywhere. The bathroom was honestly not nice. I know I paid little so I guess you get what you pay for.

The location was perfect for us, the room was clean and the bathroom, although basic, met our needs. 2 of us are coeliac and were very impressed with the choice at breakfast. The gentleman receptionist was helpful.

Cons:

The decor and bathroom were a bit dated. The lift buttons, although safe, were disconcerting. The day receptionist gave us incorrect information about the time our parking permit ended on a Saturday, which caused some anxiety. However this was rectified when we checked with the gentleman receptionist.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable, the treble cot provided was as stated and comftable for my 4 month old baby.
Hearing was good as could turn up and down.
We had sea veiw in our room.
Kettle cups etc was all provided. We ran out of coffee and was going to buy some from the local shop but the guy at reception said not to and gave us plenty more.
The guy who was working was extremely helpful with where to eat locally and with anything we needed.
Would stay again if we was in that area

Cons:

Windows didn't open was screwed shit so couldn't get any fresh air as my partner sleep with a window open

Good value for money for a short stay
Pros:

Located on the waterfront, I had a view to the ocean and the pier from my single room. The reception staff was friendly and available to help. The bed was comfortable. Hot water and water pressure were good. Breakfast was good if you are happy without a cooked breakfast --there was a variety of cereals and spreads, croissants and muffins, ham and cheese, fruit, yogurt and milk, bread and coffee. Smart TV available in the room.

Cons:

As others have said, the property is a bit run down and suffers from humidity and my room did smell a bit damp. It was ok after opening the window for a while. The kettle in the room had some residue (I think rust) and did not feel safe to use. There wasn't a door between the bathroom and the room and the morning sun woke me up early. I still think it was good value for money for a one-night stay.
