Hotel review
Pros:

The location was good not far from places I had to go.

Cons:

I didn't like that all the rooms I looked at had a mold and mildew smell. I had two rooms and the bed in 122 was sinking in on one side. Room 105 was just the mold smell.

Damp, disappointing room
Pros:

The staff were helpful and accommodating.

Cons:

The room was more humid than it was outside on a 100* day in July. The bed felt wet it was so humid. The metal on the dresser handles was rusty it was so humid. We tried a second room and while it was slightly better, there was no way I could sleep there. I had to find another hotel for the night.

Pros:

The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The room we stayed in, needs some major TLC!! There are reddish stains on carpet and spots on the ceiling. The furniture looked beat up. The bathroom tub needed a good scrubbing! Usually I have no complaints about this place,but this room just wasn't good .

The stay was fine. I was comfortable. They should upgrade some of the rooms.
Pros:

I like the location. The team was friendly. It took only a few short minutes for me to check in and out of the facility.

Cons:

There was a large stain on the carpet that resembled blood. There was rust all in the tub.

Unacceptable property
Pros:

The hotel is in disrepair and issues are obviously not being dealt with. Upon driving up to the hotel the area felt blighted and unkept. The landscaping was full of weeds. When we entered our room we immediately noticed a strange, overbearing air-freshener odor. Within a few minutes it was obvious that there was an attempt to mask extreme mildew and mold odors. The condition of the furniture was abysmal. The controls for the air conditioning unit were unreadable. We discovered that the side entrance door was not locked and did not even latch. There was evidence of mold on the hallway ceilings. We paid points + $170 for a miserable night’s stay. It’s shocking that Choice Hotels is not more attentive to their brand of hotels. We have always been Rewards Members but after this experience will not be choosing Choice Hotels in the future.

We enjoyed everything and the staff was very professional the room and facility was clean.

Disgusting management
Pros:

The booking was very easy!

Cons:

I didn't like that once booked it didn't state that they wouldn't honor the booking due to the fact that they WILL NOT rent to "locals"! So they canceled the reservation and were COMPLETELY NASTY about EVERYTHING!

Not as advertised
Pros:

Super close to our event and to local conveniences like gas and food.

Cons:

The area of hotels there is extremely dirty, there's an old fridge in the yard. The room smelled of mold really bad, I almost thought I wouldn't be able to stay because i have mold allergies. The beds were NOT queens, they were super springy and there was a blood stain on a sheet. The pool is run down, there's a bullet hole in the window of the pool and we pulled out clumps of hair.

Great hotel
Pros:

Clean hotel. Room was very nice, larger than expected. Great value, great location. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend this hotel. We will be staying again when we come back to town.
