NICE HOTEL
Pros:

Nice hotel . Grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the breakfast . Staff was excellent . Absolutely no complaints here .

Plans Change? Beware of Booking.com
Cons:

We have visited Kingston a dozen times in past 3 years and ALWAYS stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites... you should too!
This time were in Kingston to help move our son.
My wife shattered her ankle and was hospitalized requiring surgery.
When making the reservation late at night from the Hospital for an extra room for my son, I used Booking.com
My wife's and my room, booked direct.
We added extra days and then once surgery and recovery was done, shortened our stay by 2 days directly, NO QUESTIONS!
How ever, even with 2 days notice, we are locked in a continuing a finger pointing match between Booking.com and the Hotel about how to get the prepaid cost of the last 2 days of our reservation refunded. We checked out 3 days early.

Clean, Comfortable, and Welcoming
Pros:

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Kingston Hampton Inn during a road trip to upstate New York. It was an excellent stay, starting with a remarkably warm and welcoming check-in process. The room was clean and comfortable with a pleasant decor. We had a good night's sleep and enjoyed their complimentary hot breakfast before hitting the road for the next leg of our trip.

Next time we are in the Kingston area, this will be the place to book.
Pros:

Convenient location on and off the NY Thruway. Easy to travel into Kingston for dinner. Breakfast had many options. I accidently left my hat and jacket in the room after checkout. The front desk located the items and arranged for them to be mailed to my home.

The staff was welcoming, and our stay was enjoyable
Pros:

The location is convenient.
I’m allergic to gluten and dairy so the breakfast is the same as any other hotel that has a breakfast included. Plain Oatmeal because they don’t have dairy free milk or tea/coffee creamer.

Cons:

For the price, it would be nice if they had vegan breakfast options as well as gluten-free.
