Perfect place to relax!
We booked this hotel for one night while attending a wedding in downtown Madison. It was an updated/newer Courtyard property which was comfortable and clean. It was about a 20–25-minute ride into downtown Madison (about a $20 Uber ride when we stayed there). We booked on points but noticed it was significantly less expensive than the downtown hotels and chose it for this reason.
This is a solid Courtyard experience. It is everything you expect in design and comfort. Our room looked freshly renovated and was large and very comfortable with extra sitting area. Bathroom was fine though it did not appear to be as new as the room. But absolutely no complaints and it was the best price point of any of the Marriott properties. Win win.
The experience was delightful from check in to chek out. Great restaurants nearby and all you need to relax and rest at this Courtyard Marriott. Great pool and hot tub as well.
It was a surprise that breakfast wasn’t included.
The side door would not allow entry from the outside with room key. The front desk clerk failed to mention which meant backtracking with a lot of luggage. Front desk staff wasn’t particularly friendly.
I liked the breakfast bistro bar. It offered a limited menu, but the food was prepared fresh as ordered. I am not a fan of buffets.

Perfect stay wonderful hotel
Everything was fine except the airconditioning unit and sound insulation
The heat pump was very noisy. Every couple of hours through the night, some liquid would circulate with a noise. Also the walls are not insulated well. As a result, we were waking up through the night. Ironic that the bed, furniture and bathroom are good. Surprised that no other guests pointed out this issue.

The hotel was recently remodeled, very clean and comfortable. Comfy, modern room. Overall, exceeded my expectations! Would stay again.

Everything was fine except the electrical problems in the original room and the room they moved us to.
